Aspects relate to signaling relating to a non-linearity model for power amplifier circuitry of a transmitting device. The power amplifier circuitry may apply digital pre-distortion (DPD) to a signal prior to amplification and transmission of the signal. A receiving device may apply digital post-distortion (DPoD) to a signal received from the transmitting device where the DPoD is based on the non-linearity model. The transmitting device may send to the receiving device non-linearity parameters for the non-linearity model.

Signaling of information for non-linearity model

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for envelope tracking schemes for a node in a wireless communication network. One aspect provides a method for wireless communication by a transmitter device. The method generally includes: combining envelopes associated with subbands of an input signal to be amplified for transmission based on a combination function; amplifying, via an amplifier, the input signal to generate a transmission signal, the input signal being amplified based on a combined envelope signal, representing the combination of the envelopes, received at a supply input of the amplifier; and transmitting the transmission signal to a receiver device.

Envelope tracking for wideband signals using filter bank processing

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, a base station may indicate, to a user equipment (UE), when it changes a power amplifier (PA) non-linearity model. The base station may transmit a set of parameters for the PA model, and a set of parameters for a non-linear equalizer function for the UE to use during a digital post-processing procedure (DPoD). The base station may indicate, to the UE, a lookup table, a vector of lookup tales, a set of kernels (e.g., from which the UE may estimate the coefficients of the PA model), or a set of both the kernels and the coefficients for the PA model. Similarly, for the non-linear equalizer function, the base station may indicate an explicit indication of the function, or may indicate a lookup table, or a kernels series (e.g., with or without corresponding coefficients).

High order digital post-distortion procedures

Systems and methods are provided for performing operations comprising: detecting, by a plurality of electromyograph (EMG) electrodes of an EMG communication device, subthreshold muscle activation signals of one or more muscles associated with speech production, the subthreshold muscle activation signals being generated in response to inner speech of a user; applying a transform to the subthreshold muscle activation signals detected by the plurality of EMG electrodes to represent the subthreshold muscle activation signals as a plurality of maximally independent components; accessing an interference template corresponding to an eye blink component; filtering the plurality of maximally independent components based on the interference template to provide filtered maximally independent components; and regenerating a filtered version of the subthreshold muscle activation signals based on the filtered maximally independent components.

Removing eye blinks from EMG speech signals

A base station may identify one or more signaling messages or pilots usable for identifying a combined PA and ET non-linearity model associated with the base station. The combined PA and ET non-linearity model may be associated with a PA circuitry and an ET circuitry. The PA circuitry and the ET circuitry may be associated with the base station. The base station may transmit, to the UE, and the UE may receive, from the base station, the one or more signaling messages or pilots. The UE may identify a combined PA and ET non-linearity model associated with the base station based on the one or more signaling messages or pilots. The UE may compensate for a distortion in one or more subsequent signals from the base station based on the identified combined PA and ET non-linearity model.

Non-linearity estimation for envelope tracking PA

This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for performing wireless communication using digital post distortion, for example, with a large antenna array where the number of transmit antennas may be greater than a number of spatial streams. A transmitting device and a receiving device determine a perturbed precoding matrix based on a precoding perturbation rule. The transmitting device precodes a signal using the perturbed precoding matrix and transmits via the number of antennas greater than the number of spatial streams. The receiving device receives the signal and subtracts non-linearities from the received signal based on a channel estimation using the perturbed precoding matrix over one or more iterations.
