There may be provided a method for validating a monitoring system, the method may include sensing, by at least one sensing element of the monitoring system, a physical parameter; sending sensed information that is related to the physical parameter to a remote computerized system of the monitoring system; applying, by the remote computerized system, a process on the sensed information to provide a response to the sensed information; generating validation information by a generator of the monitoring system; sending the validation information to the remote computerized system; applying, by the remote computerized system, the process on the validation information to provide a response to the validation information; and determining, by a validator of the monitoring system, a validity of the monitoring system based on the response to the validation result.

Method and system to assure monitoring system validity

Various embodiments of systems and methods for communication in brush fire networks, particularly for the management of inventory of physical items during the time such items are in transport from one location to another. Various embodiments include systems and methods for roll call of the physical items, and for identification and management of events occurring to the physical items. Various embodiments include a loader operating with the brush fire network, in which the loader can identify the numbers or other identifications of physical items, and in which the loader has one or more modules for communicating with both the brush fire network and an information network. Alternative embodiments present systems and methods for managing the inventory of physical items located at fixed locations.

Systems and methods for brush fire communication

Various embodiments of systems and methods for protecting various products and materials that are sensitive to variations in temperature, during the time that such sensitive products and materials are in transit or in storage. Phase Change Materials ('PCM') are used to absorb heat, and thereby protect the sensitive products and materials. Various systems and methods for measuring current levels, and changes in, the residual latent energy in the PCM, and thereby determining the expected duration of temperature control for the sensitive products and materials. Various systems and methods for aggregating the measurements of changes in the residual latent energy of the PCM, and for communicating such measurements by wireless or wireline communication to an outside receiver of such information. Various systems and methods for taking action, based on measurements of changes in residual latent energy of the PCM, for protecting the temperature sensitive products or materials.

Systems and methods for real-time monitoring of expected duration of temperature control

An adaptive data slicer which functions to adapt to changes in the properties of a signal input thereto by producing a near optimal slicing threshold in accordance with the input signal for use in a decision circuit. The slicing level is considered optimal when its use in the decision circuit minimizes the bit error probability. The data slicer utilizes two peak detectors, a maximum peak detector for detecting the highest levels of the input signal and a minimum peak detector for detecting the lowest levels of the input signal.

Adaptive data slicer

A GFSK modulator suitable for use in an RF communication system comprising a modular subsystem and a baseband processor subsystem which is implemented digitally. The baseband processor subsystem comprises a Gaussian filter, phase accumulator and cosine and sine look up tables. The baseband processor functions to convert an input data sequence into I and Q output signals. The I and Q signals are subsequently modulated by a quadrature modulator to yield a GFSK modulated signal which can then be amplified and placed into the channel. The response of the Gaussian filter is pre-calculated for all possible combinations of the input data and the results are quantized and stored in a look up table. The quantized phase results (either magnitude or differences), generated in response to the input data, are accumulated digitally and converted to I and Q signals. The modulator may be implemented using three look up tables: two of which are for storing cosine and sine values and the third is used to store the pre-calculated quantized phase results (either absolute magnitudes or differences). The size of the three look up tables may be reduced by taking advantage of the symmetry properties of the Gaussian filter response and the cosine and sine functions.
