A system comprising a plurality of points of access deployed in venue having a crowd area located next to an event happening area, each one of the plurality of points of access comprising an optical transmitter adapted to broadcast an encoded media stream in light emissions, a plurality of portable optical receiver units, each having: a connector adapted to be electrically connected to one of a plurality of client devices, an optical receiver adapted to capture the light emissions, and a controller adapted to convert the light emissions into a digital stream forwarded via the connector to a respective client device of the plurality of client devices to allow a presentation of the digital stream on a display of the respective client device by an application executed on the respective client device.

Spatial optical wireless communication system

A crowd control projectile includes a payload carrier, an incapacitating agent inside the payload carrier, and an activating mechanism for activating the incapacitating agent. The activating mechanism includes a sensor and a timer. The timer delays the activation until a predetermined delay after the sensor senses that the projectile has been launched. Alternatively, the activating mechanism includes a receiver for receiving an activation signal after the projectile has been launched. Preferably, the projectile has the shape of a clay pigeon. A launcher of such a projectile includes a communication mechanism for transmitting a timing signal or an activation signal to the projectile and an arm for launching the projectile by direct contact. To control a crowd, the projectile is launched over the crowd by direct contact with a solid arm and the activating mechanism is used to activate the incapacitating agent when the projectile is above the crowd.

Clay-pigeon-like projectile for crowd control

A protective apparatus adapted for covering a mobile device and having an extendable arm. The protective apparatus includes a protective apparatus sized and shaped for being attached to a camera equipped mobile device and having a back plane and first and second sides which are laterally opposing one another, a scissor mechanism compartment formed by at least one sidewall and a bottom of the backplane, a scissor mechanism adapted to be manually extended from and manually retracted into the scissor mechanism compartment along an extension axis, and when the protective apparatus is attached to the camera equipped mobile device, a back of a housing of the camera equipped mobile device is placed against a top of the back plane and the lateral sides of the housing are placed against the first and second sides.

A self-photographing mount device for holding a camera equipped user device at a distance from a user, comprising: a mounting structure having at least two corner mounting elements for mounting a camera equipped user device in parallel to a mounting plane; an extendable shaft having a handle at a proximal end thereof; and a hinge mounted on one of the at least two corner mounting elements to allow pivotal rotation of the extendable shaft from a folded position to an open position; when in the folded position, the extendable shaft is adjacent to the mounting plane and parallel to a diagonal of a back panel of the camera equipped user device; and when in the open position, the extendible shaft forms a wide angle with the mounting plane.
