The first connecting piece and the second connecting piece are both rotatably connected to the base; and when the first connecting piece and the second connecting piece are in an unfolding position, the force applying structure applies, to the lifting plate, a tensile force from the lifting plate to a side of the lifting plate away from a fitting surface, and the supporting structure applies, to the lifting plate, a first supporting force that counterbalances the tensile force.

In a folded state, the first rotating segment is not separated from the slide of the support, and the second rotating segment can meet a requirement of supporting a floating plate in an unfolded state in a screen supporting position, and an inner end of the first rotating segment can be accommodated in an opening of a floating plate and does not interfere with the floating plate.

The rotatable support mechanism includes a swing arm, a fixed structure, a limit part, and a support structure. The support structure is provided with a mounting plane, and the panel is fastened to the mounting plane; a first limit portion is formed on the swing arm; and the limit part is connected to the support structure, and a second limit portion is formed on the limit part. When the screen is in a folded state, the limit part is separated from the swing arm. When the screen is in an unfolded state, the second limit portion of the limit part can abut against the first limit portion of the swing arm, thereby implementing mutual constraint between the swing arm and the support structure.

Embodiments of this application disclose a folding mechanism and a mobile terminal. The folding mechanism includes a bracket and two support assemblies, with the two support assemblies respectively located on two sides of the bracket in a width direction. The support assembly includes a first support, a second support, and a swing arm, with the second support and the swing arm located on a same side of the first support. Because the second support and the first support are slidably connected rather than pivotally connected, the second support and the first support can be considered as one telescopic rod as a whole. Therefore, the bracket, the second support, the first support, and the swing arm form an equivalent three-rod linkage mechanism. In comparison with the related art, one linkage rod is saved, shortening a tolerance chain, which helps reducing a total tolerance of the folding mechanism.

In the synchronization mechanism, a first rotating component and a second rotating component are in transmission connection by using a first worm, a worm gear, and a second worm that are sequentially meshed, thereby implementing the synchronous rotation of the first rotating component and the second rotating component relative to a base. In addition, when the synchronization mechanism is applied to the foldable terminal, since an axial direction of the worm gear and a radial direction of the first worm and the second worm are consistent with a thickness direction of the body, and an axial size of the worm gear and radial sizes of the first worm and the second worm are relatively small, which is conducive to the light and thin design of the foldable terminal.
