A polarizing rotation device including a rotation shaft, a driving element and a polarizing element is provided. The driving element is configured to drive the rotation shaft to rotate. The polarizing element is connected to the rotation shaft and is disposed on a transmission path of at least one beam, where the driving element is configured to drive the polarizing element to rotate sequentially while taking the rotation shaft as a rotation central axis, and when the polarizing element is rotated, the at least one beam penetrates through the polarizing element, and the at least one beam penetrating through the polarizing element has different polarization states at different time. Therefore, when a projection device is in a polarized stereoscopic mode, a color or brightness of a display image is uniform, and a user observes a 3D display image with good uniformity.

Polarizing rotation device and projection device

The present invention provides a lighting system, including at least one light source, a depolarization element and a light homogenization element. The at least one light source is configured to provide at least one light beam. The depolarization element is disposed on a transmission path of the at least one light beam. The depolarization element includes a first optical element, and the first optical element is provided with a first optical axis. The light homogenization element is configured to allow the at least one light beam to pass to form an illuminating light beam. The incident direction where the at least one light beam is transmitted to the first optical element is not parallel to the first light axis. The depolarization element is located between the at least one light source and the light homogenization element. In addition, projection apparatus is also provided.

Lighting system and projection apparatus

An illumination system including an exciting light source module, a wavelength conversion device and a light uniforming module is provided. The exciting light source module is configured to emit an exciting beam. The wavelength conversion device is disposed on a transmission path of the exciting beam and is configured to rotate around a central axis. The light uniforming module is disposed on the transmission path of the exciting beam and between the exciting light source module and the wavelength conversion device. After the exciting beam emitted from the exciting light source module passes through the light uniforming module, the exciting beam forms a light spot on the wavelength conversion device. The energy intensity distribution of the light spot along the radial direction about the central axis is that the energy intensity is lower in the center and higher on the two sides. A projection apparatus is also provided.

Illumination system and projection apparatus

An illumination system including an exciting light source module, a wavelength converter and an anisotropic diffusion element is provided. The exciting light source module is configured to emit an exciting beam. The wavelength converter is disposed on a transmission path of the exciting beam. The anisotropic diffusion element is disposed on the transmission path of the exciting beam and is located between the exciting light source module and the wavelength converter. The anisotropic diffusion element allows the passing exciting beam to expand in a light expanding direction, and the light expanding direction is substantially parallel to a fast axis of the exciting beam. A projection apparatus including the illumination system is also provided.

A polarization rotation device including a rotation shaft, a driving element, a polarization element and a reflective element is provided. The polarization element is disposed on a transmission path of the at least one excitation light beam. The reflective element is disposed on a side of the polarization element. The driving element drives the polarization element to sequentially rotate with the rotation shaft as a rotation center axis. When the polarization element rotates, the excitation light beam is transmitted to the polarization element and passes through the polarization element and is again transmitted to and passes through the polarization element by the reflective element. The excitation light beam outputting from the polarization rotation device has different polarization states at different time periods. A projection device applying the polarization rotation device of the invention achieves the effect of uniform color or brightness when displaying images in a 3D display mode.

Polarization rotation device and projection device

An illumination system and a projection device are provided. The illumination system includes at least one laser light source providing at least one laser beam and a polarizing rotation module including a first axle, a first driving element, and a polarizing element. The first axle has a first revolution frequency. The polarizing element is disposed on a transmission path of the laser beam. The first driving element causes the polarizing element to rotate in a temporally sequenced manner. When the polarizing element is rotated, the laser beam is transmitted to the polarizing element at a specific frequency in a plurality of first time periods. The laser beam passing through the polarizing element has different polarizing states at different times. The specific frequency and the first revolution frequency of the first axle are not exactly divisible by each other. The invention can generate an image with uniform polarizing direction.

Illumination system and projection device

A projection device includes an illumination system, a light valve, and a projection lens. The illumination system includes an excitation light source, a wavelength conversion element, a light converging lens, and a light integration rod. The excitation light source provides an excitation beam. The wavelength conversion element converts the excitation beam into a conversion beam. A greatest width in a light spot formed on the wavelength conversion element by the excitation beam is a first distance. A greatest width in a light spot formed on the wavelength conversion element by the conversion beam is a second distance. The second distance is greater than the first distance. The light integration rod receives the conversion beam from the light converging lens. The conversion beam generated by the wavelength conversion element of the invention is effectively projected to the light integration rod.

Projection device and illumination system thereof

A light source module includes a plurality of light combining elements, a plurality of first light emitting elements, and a plurality of second light emitting elements. Each of the light combining elements has a first reflecting surface and a second reflecting surface. Each of the first light emitting elements emits a first illuminating beam, and one of the first reflecting surfaces reflects the first illuminating beam to be transmitted along a light combining direction. Orthographic projections of the light combining elements on a reference plane are connected in sequence, and the reference plane is perpendicular to the light combining direction. Each of the second light emitting elements emits a second illuminating beam, and one of the second reflecting surfaces reflects the second illuminating beam to be transmitted along the light combining direction. In addition, a projector having the light source module is also provided.

Projector and light source module

The invention provides a projection apparatus and an illumination system. The projection apparatus includes an illumination system, a light valve, and a projection lens. The illumination system includes at least one laser light source, at least one light separating element, a wavelength conversion element, and a reflective element. The at least one laser light source is adapted to generate at least one laser beam, and the at least one laser beam is adapted to penetrate at least one first coating region of the light separating element. The wavelength conversion element is adapted to convert the laser beam from the light separating element into a converted beam. A second coating region of a reflective surface of the reflective element is adapted to reflect a portion of the laser beam from the wavelength conversion element, and the second coating region and the first coating region are adapted to reflect the converted beam. The portion of the laser beam and the converted beam constitute an illumination beam. In the projection apparatus and the illumination system of the invention, the converted beam may be more effectively used, so that the illumination system has good optical efficiency, and the projection apparatus has good imaging effects.

Projection apparatus and illumination system

An illumination system includes a light integration rod and a light source module. The light integration rod has a light-in end, a light-out end opposite to the light-in end, and phosphor distributed between the light-in end and the light-out end. The light source module is configured to provide a laser beam to enter into the light integration rod through the light-in end thereof. The phosphor is used to convert the laser beam into a first color beam to form an illumination beam. The illumination beam then emits out from the light integration rod through the light-out end thereof. A projection apparatus using the aforementioned illumination system is also provided.

Projection apparatus and illumination system thereof

A light source device including a light source module and an adjusting mechanism is provided. The light source module includes a base, a first light source and at least two second light sources. The first light source is disposed on the base and adapted to emit an invisible light curtain, wherein the invisible light curtain ranges over a display plane. The second light sources are disposed on the base and adapted to emit a first visible light beam and a second visible light beam respectively, wherein the first visible light beam is parallel to the invisible light curtain and the second visible light beam is parallel to the invisible light curtain. The adjusting mechanism is disposed on the base and used to adjust relative positions of the base and the display plane. In addition, an adjusting method of the light source device is also provided.

Light source device and adjusting method thereof using adjusting mechanism

An interactive touch system includes a display device, a light source device and an invisible light detecting device. The display device is adapted to provide an image beam to a display surface. The light source device includes a light-emitting element and a light-guide element. The light-guide element has a conical surface and a cylindrical curved surface facing the conical surface. The curvature center of at least partial section of the cylindrical curved surface is not located on the central axis of the conical surface. The light-emitting element is adapted to emit an invisible light beam toward the conical surface, and the invisible light beam is reflected by the conical surface and the cylindrical curved surface to be diverged and range over the display surface. When an object moves to the display surface, the invisible light beam is reflected by the object to be detected by the invisible light detecting device.

Interactive touch system and light source device

A touch module, a projection system, and a touch method of the touch module are provided. The touch module includes a laser scanner device, a photodiode, an image capturing device, and a processing unit. The laser scanner device sequentially provides a touch region with a laser beam at a plurality of angles in a first period. The photodiode is configured for receiving a reflection beam from a touch point in the touch region. The image capturing device captures an image having another reflection beam from the touch point in a second period. The processing unit determines a first angle corresponding to the touch point according to the reflection beam from the touch point received by the photodiode, determines a second angle corresponding to another reflection beam captured by the image capturing device, and calculates location information of the touch point according to the first angle and the corresponding second angle.
