A light emitting diode (LED) tube and an LED lamp using the same are provided. The LED tube is suitable for direct installation in a lamp holder which has a starter and a ballast. The LED tube includes an LED array, an LED driver, and a rectification-block diplexer. When the LED array is driven by the LED driver, the rectifier-block diplexer disables the starter and the ballast and at the same time receives and converts an AC power supply. Thus the rectifier-block diplexer provides an operating voltage to the LED driver. Without removing the starter and shorting the ballast, the user can easily install the LED tube into a traditional fluorescent lamp socket, saving the cost of lamp modification, thus achieving the purpose of energy saving and environmental protection.

Light emitting diode tube and light emitting diode lamp using the same

A light emitting diode (LED) lamp includes a lamp holder, an optical module, a thermal pad, and a fixing ring. The lamp holder has a first recess in which the optical module is configured. The thermal pad is configured in the first recess and between the optical module and the lamp holder, so as to separate the optical module from the lamp holder. The fixing ring is locked to the lamp holder, so as to fix the optical module into the lamp holder. The optical module includes a first fixing element, an LED board, and a lens. The first fixing element has an accommodating opening in which the LED board is configured. The LED board includes a circuit board and LEDs, and the LEDs are configured on the circuit board. The lens is fixed to the first fixing element and covers the LEDs.

A lamp structure includes a transparent cap, a lamp housing, a ring section, a separating pad, and a lamp board. The lamp housing has heat dissipating fins annularly arranged around the lamp housing. An end of each of the heat dissipating fins adjacent to the transparent cap has a groove, and the transparent cap covers the top of the groove. The ring section connects the end of each of the heat dissipating fins adjacent to the transparent cap. The separating pad is disposed on the bottom of the groove and extends along a sidewall of the groove to a region below the transparent cap to form a separating wall. The lamp board having light emitting diode devices is disposed in a containing space between the transparent cap and the separating pad to preclude damages caused by electrostatic discharge.

A driving circuit of a light emitting diode (LED) includes a rectifier unit, a voltage-dividing circuit, a control unit, a voltage converter, a resistance and a capacitor. The rectifier unit rectifies an AC power to generate a first operation voltage. The voltage-dividing circuit generates a voltage-dividing signal. The control unit includes a regulating unit and a pulse width modulation (PWM) unit. An output terminal of the regulating unit is coupled to the PWM unit. The PWM unit outputs a PWM signal. The voltage converter adjusts a driving voltage and a driving current of the LED. The resistance is coupled between an output terminal of the regulating unit and a diode. The capacitor is coupled between a power input terminal of the regulating unit and a ground terminal. The PWM unit adjusts the PWM signal according to the voltage-dividing signal and a feedback signal output by the voltage converter.
