A non-transitory computer-readable medium of a device that stores computer-executable instructions is provided. When the instructions are executed by the device, the instructions cause the device to: determine a line index of a block unit determined from an image frame in the bitstream for selecting one of reference lines; compare the line index with a first predefined value to determine whether a mode flag is included in the bitstream; determine a mode index in the bitstream for directly selecting a prediction mode from a most probable mode (MPM) list when the mode flag is not included in the bitstream; compare the mode flag to a second predefined value when the mode flag is included in the bitstream to determine whether the prediction mode is selected from the MPM list based on the mode index; and reconstruct the block unit based on the selected reference line and the prediction mode.

Non-transitory computer-readable medium for selecting a prediction mode based on a line index

A device, structure, and method are provided whereby an insert layer is utilized to provide additional support for weaker and softer dielectric layer. The insert layer may be applied between two weaker dielectric layers or the insert layer may be used with a single layer of dielectric material. Once formed, trenches and vias are formed within the composite layers, and the insert layer will help to provide support that will limit or eliminate undesired bending or other structural motions that could hamper subsequent process steps, such as filling the trenches and vias with conductive material.

Multi-layer film device and method

An in-plane magnetized spin-orbit magnetic device is provided. The in-plane magnetized spin-orbit magnetic device includes a heavy metal layer, an antiferromagnetic layer, and a magnetic tunnel junction. The antiferromagnetic layer is disposed on the heavy metal layer, and the magnetic tunnel junction is disposed on the antiferromagnetic layer. The magnetic tunnel junction includes a free layer, a barrier layer, and a pinned layer. The barrier layer is disposed on the free layer, and the pinned layer is disposed on the barrier layer. A film surface shape of the free layer is a rounded rectangle.

In-plane magnetized spin-orbit magnetic device

An in-plane magnetized spin-orbit magnetic device is provided. The in-plane magnetized spin-orbit magnetic device includes a heavy metal layer, an upper electrode and a magnetic tunnel junction. The magnetic tunnel junction is disposed between the heavy metal layer and the upper electrode. The magnetic tunnel junction includes a free layer and a pinned layer. The free layer is disposed on the heavy metal layer, and the free layer has a first film plane area. The pinned layer is disposed on the free layer, and the pinned layer has a second film plane area. There is a preset angle between a long axis direction of a film plane shape of the free layer and a long axis direction of a film plane shape of the pinned layer, and the first film plane area is larger than the second film plane area.

An encoding, a decoding method, a system for encoding and decoding, an encoder, and a decoder are provided. The encoding method includes the following. In a palette mode, if colors of pixels of a coding unit block are all represented by one or more major colors of the coding unit block, a flag is set as a first state value, and if the color of at least one pixel of the coding unit block is not represented by the one or more major colors of the coding unit block, the flag is set as a second state value. The encoding method further includes establishing a palette table corresponding to the coding unit block according to a state value of the flag and the one or more major colors.

Encoding method, decoding method, encoding/decoding system, encoder, and decoder

A method of encoding video data by an electronic device is provided. A block unit is determined from an image frame according to the video data. A line index is encoded in a bitstream based on a selected reference line of the block unit and is compared with a first predefined value to determine whether to encode a mode flag in the bitstream. A mode index is directly encoded in the bitstream for indicating a prediction mode of the block unit from a most probable mode (MPM) list of the block unit when the mode flag is not encoded. The mode flag is compared to a second predefined value for encoding the mode index when the mode flag is encoded in the bitstream to indicate whether the prediction mode is selected from the MPM list. The block unit is predicted based on the selected reference line and the prediction mode.

Device and method for coding video data based on one or more reference lines

A data transmission system and an operation method thereof are provided. The data transmission system includes a host, a first device and a second device. The host is configured to set a voltage base of a transmission signal, and configured to pull down or up the transmission signal based on the voltage base of the transmission signal to form a plurality of glitches. The first device is connected to the host to receive the transmission signal. The first device obtains a digital content of the transmission signal according to the glitches, if the voltage base of the transmission signal is set as a first base. The second device is connected to the host to receive the transmission signal. The second device obtains the digital content of the transmission signal according to the glitches, if the voltage base of the transmission signal is set as a second base.

Data transmission system and operation method thereof

A coating method applied to perform coating with liquid metal thermal grease and a heat dissipation module are provided. The coating method includes: providing liquid metal thermal grease on a surface of an electronic element, and scraping the liquid metal thermal grease by a scraper, to coat the surface of the electronic element with the liquid metal thermal grease. A surface of the scraper is roughened. According to the coating method, the surface of the electronic element is evenly coated with the liquid metal thermal grease effectively.

Method for fabricating a semiconductor structure is provided. First features are formed in a first product region of each die area and in a material layer through a first mask. Second features are formed in a second product region of each die area and in the material layer through a second mask. Fourth features are formed in a fourth product region of each die area and in the material layer through a fourth mask. Fifth features are formed in an alignment region between the first, second, third and fourth product regions of each die area and in the material layer through the first, second, third and fourth masks. The first product region is free of the second, third, and fourth features.

Semiconductor structure and method for fabricating semiconductor structure

A method of decoding a bistream by an electronic device is provided. A block unit is determined from an image frame according to the bitstream. A line index determined in the bitstream is compared with a first predefined value to determine whether a mode flag is included in the bitstream. A mode index is determined for directly selecting a prediction mode of the block unit from a most probable mode (MPM) list of the block unit when the mode flag is not included in the bitstream. The mode flag is compared to a second predefined value when the mode flag is included in the bitstream to determine whether the prediction mode is selected from the MPM list. One of a plurality of reference lines is selected based on the line index. The block unit is reconstructed based on the selected reference line and the prediction mode.

A signal transceiving system includes: a first signal transceiver terminal; and a second signal transceiver terminal wired coupled to the first signal transceiver terminal. The first signal transceiver terminal transmits a digital signal to the second signal transceiver terminal. In response to detection of a first signal edge, the second signal transceiver terminal starts counting of a first time slot. Based on a count of at least one signal edge detected during the first time slot, the second signal transceiver terminal judges the digital signal as being logic '0' or logic '1'.

Signal transceiving system and method

A method of decoding a bitstream by an electronic device is provided. A block unit having an intra prediction mode is determined from an image frame according to the bitstream. The intra prediction mode is determined based on a first one of a plurality of mode indices, when a reference line index (Refidx) is different from a first predefined value. The intra prediction mode is determined based on the first mode index, when the Refidx is equal to the first predefined value and a most probable mode (mpm) flag is equal to a second predefined value. The intra prediction mode is determined based on a second one of the mode indices, when the Refidx is equal to the first predefined value and the mpm flag is different from the second predefined value. Then, the block unit of the image frame is reconstructed based on the intra prediction mode.
