Certain embodiment of the invention discloses a new gate driver structure suitable for TFT (Thin Film Transistor) display apparatuses, comprising a gate driver having at least one channel for outputting voltage signals; a switch circuit for controlling the outputted voltage signals from the gate driver; and a TFT substrate wherein the gate driver and the switch circuit are positioned on the substrate.

Structure of gate driver

The present invention provides an overdriving circuit for source drivers to overdrive a LCD module. The overdriving circuit includes a first threshold detection logic unit, a second threshold detection logic unit, and a selection logic unit. The first threshold detection logic unit receives gray scale data from an overdriving timing controller, compares the gray scale data to a first predetermined gray scale value, and outputs a first control signal. The second threshold detection logic unit receives the gray scale data, compare the gray scale data to a second and a third predetermined gray scale values, and outputs a second control signal. The selection logic unit receives the gray scale data, receives a plurality of gray scale compensation data, and outputs one of the received data according to the first control signal, the second control signal and a third control signal.

Overdriving circuit and method for source drivers

A display driving circuit including a color correction unit and a driving unit is provided. The color correction unit receives a digital video signal and a polarity signal, and outputs a color corrected video signal according to the received digital video signal and the polarity signal, wherein the polarity signal represents the polarity of the driving polarity applied on the display apparatus. The driving unit receives a color corrected video signal and accordingly has the received color corrected video signal converted into an analog driving voltage. The display apparatus displays the frame on the display panel according to the received analog driving voltage.
