A method of operating a user device includes: receiving a command from a user to power on the user device; determining whether the user device is located within a restricted zone through accessing a key server located within the restricted zone by a first monitoring entity of the user device before an operating system of the user device is executed, wherein the key server is configured to store a key for encrypting or decrypting the user device; and granting access of the user to the user device by the first monitoring entity in response to determining the user device as being within the restricted zone through successfully accessing the key server.

A system and method for transporting wafer lots to desired destinations. The system includes a wafer lot status database unit, status storage, a filtering rule base, and a dispatch control unit. First, status records are input from the wafer lot status database by the dispatch control unit repeatedly for a predetermined period of time. Then, the dispatch control unit inputs a status tree and selects candidate wafer lots using the filtering rule and generates transport commands for candidate wafer lots to the transport unit. A parallel control method for sequential process control flow. First, a parallel step including a plurality of independent sub-steps is generated in a sequential process control flow. One of the sub-steps is directed to execute at a time, and any sub-step gains the right to execute when the other sub-steps are in waiting state. It is assessed the parallel step is complete by whether all of the sub-steps are complete, and the sequential process control flow is controlled to a next step succeeding the parallel step if the parallel step is complete.
