The present invention is directed to rigid filtration apparatus comprising a filter support and filter membrane. Such filter support is comprised of a central core. Radiating from the central core are a plurality of pleats composed of two angled walls terminating at a contact point. Such longitudinal walls circumscribe a longitudinal channel situated between the walls wherein the longitudinal channel is in communication with the central core. The longitudinal walls are comprised of a plurality of openings along the walls. A filter membrane having biocidal components may be utilized with the filter support to effectively treat contaminated fluid, gas or air. Alternatively, the composition of the rigid central core and the rigid pleats may be composed of different materials to selectively remove chemicals, biological components or pharmaceuticals in a multi-stage treatment process.

Filter support

A method of permanently affixing tungsten cube fragments to the fragmentation warhead in a convex Claymore mine having a plastic case and a housing. Pieces of predetermined sized structural film adhesive are positioned at temperature 60&#xb0; F.&#xb1;5&#xb0; F., then pressed into the plastic case while pouring tungsten cubes into the case. The cubes are arranged into desired patterns all at temperature 70&#xb0; F.&#xb1;2&#xb0; F. An interface plate and 5 lbs of weight are then placed atop thereof and all are heated in an oven at temperature 205&#xb0; F.&#xb1;5&#xb0; F. for four hours for full cure of a desired product.

Fabricating embedded fragmentation cases for anti-personnel mines

A tactical capsule charge system includes a plurality of plastic containers connected serially, mechanically, and explosively by detonating cord. Each plastic container contains composition C-4 that is detonated by the detonating cord that passes through the interior of the container. The quantity of PETN inside the container is enhanced by tying a knot in the detonating cord in the interior of the container or by wrapping the detonating cord in the interior of the container with PETN sheet. Any number of containers may be used and they may be spaced along the detonating cord at any desired interval.

Tactical capsule charge system

A non-lethal, hand or rifle fired grenade which widely disperses non-lethal pellets&#x2014;using a flexible multipocket bladder type device which is mounted on a rigid internal frame. The grenade provides a wide distribution arc of rotation for the pellets, as the pellets are located in pockets about the bladder, which is blown outward to expel the pellets. Further, as the propellant is located within the flexible multipocket bladder, the hot gases and embers cannot escape&#x2014;thereby helping to protect the target individuals from exposure to such potentially hazardous materials.
