The present invention relates to a method for in situ preparation of cyano-bridged coordination polymers as metal nanoparticles within a biocompatible reverse micellar system by mixing at least two reverse micellar systems, each one containing at least one metal salt precursor. The invention also relates to the stabilization of theses nanoparticles by using a biocompatible reverse micellar system. This system takes part of the synthesis as a nanoreactor which comprises at least an acylglycerol, a sterol, lecithin, ethanol and water for the preparation of stable cyano-bridged metal nanoparticles without any use of additional stabilizer agent.

In situ preparation of cyano-bridged metal nanoparticles within a biocompatible reverse micellar system

A supported membrane is provided comprising an inorganic, solid porous filtration membrane supported by an inorganic, solid porous support, said supported membrane comprising nanoparticles of a metal coordination polymer with CN ligands comprising Mcations, where M is a transition metal and n is 2 or 3; and Alk[M'(CN)]anions where Alk is an alkaline metal, y is 0, 1 or 2, M&#x2032; is a transition metal, x is 3 or 4, and m is 6 or 8; said Mcations of the coordination polymer being bound through an organometallic or coordination bond to an organic group of an organic graft chemically attached to the surface of the filtration membrane, inside the pores of the filtration membrane, and optionally inside the pores of the support. The supported membrane may be used in a process for separating at least one metal cation and solid particles from a liquid medium containing the same.

A nanocomposite solid material includes nanoparticles of a metal coordination polymer with CN ligands comprising Mcations, in which M is a transition metal and n is 2 or 3; and anions [M'(CN)]in which M&#x2032; is a transition metal, x is 3 or 4, and m is 6 or 8. The Mcations of the coordination polymer are bound through an organometallic bond to an organic group of an organic graft chemically attached inside the pores of a support made of porous glass. The material can be used in a method for fixing (binding) a mineral pollutant, such as radioactive cesium, contained in a solution by bringing the solution in contact with the nanocomposite solid material.
