The present invention provides an X-ray equipment and an alignment method thereof. The X-ray equipment comprises a tube, a detector, an LED array, a camera and a display. The LED array is fixed relative to a detection center of the detector, and has a predefined geometric center; the camera is fixed relative to a center of the tube, for photographing the LED array; the display is connected to the camera, for displaying images photographed by the camera, wherein when the center of the tube is aligned with the detection center of the detector, the geometric center of the LED array is located on a specific pixel unit on the display.

The method comprises: capturing an image of a patient on an examining table of the system by an image sensor, wherein the image sensor is placed at a predetermined position in the system; displaying the captured image on a display for selection of a region of interest or a point of interest by a user on the image; automatically determining a target position of an X-ray source in response to the selection of the region of interest or the point of interest on the image, wherein a desired field of view for exposure covering the region of interest or the point of interest is obtained when the X-ray source is located at the target position; and automatically locating the X-ray source at the target position in response to the determination of the target position.

The X-ray imaging system uses an X-ray irradiator and an X-ray receiver opposed to each other through a space to radiograph a subject positioned between the two and comprises radiographing device having the X-ray irradiator and the X-ray receiver, optical radiographing device for picking up an optical image of the subject, specifying device for analyzing the optical image and specifying physical characteristics of the subject, and positioning device for positioning the X-ray irradiator and the X-ray receiver of the radiographing device on the basis of the specified physical characteristics and a portion to be radiographed of the subject.
