The virtual image display apparatus includes an image source configured to produce imaging illumination; an optical relay configured to receive the imaging illumination from the image source, and configured to transmit a detection light having an aberrated wavefront representing imaging distortion in a virtual image displayed by the virtual image display apparatus; a wavefront sensor configured to receive the detection light, and configured to detect wavefront aberration information from the detection light; and a wavefront correction processor configured to receive the wavefront aberration information from the wavefront sensor, and configured to adjust in real time the imaging illumination produced by the image source to reduce the imaging distortion in real time.

The master control component is configured to obtain vehicle information, analyze the vehicle information, and generate a control instruction based on an analysis result. The vehicle information includes vehicle positioning information and vehicle attitude information, or traveling road information and vehicle attitude information. The driving component, connected to the head-up display component, is configured to adjust the head-up display component based on the control instruction such that the projection location of the image displayed by the head-up display component remains at a consistent relative height with respect to the ground.

The head-up display apparatus comprises: an image projecting device, a display background detecting device, and a processor. The image projecting device is configured to generate an image and project the image onto a preset area on a reflective surface. The display background detecting device is configured to detect optical information of a background space that a user can see through the preset area, wherein the background space and the user are located at opposite sides of the reflective surface. The processor is configured to determine an image displaying mode of the image projecting device based on the optical information, and to control the image projecting device to project images in the determined image displaying mode.
