A method for using a telescoping monopod apparatus to capture an image including synchronizing a photographic instrument with the telescoping monopod apparatus, attaching the photographic instrument to the telescoping monopod apparatus, determining that the photographic instrument is in an image-capturing mode, extracting, by the image-capturing mode, a humanoid feature, detecting that the humanoid feature comprises a cutoff, adjusting a position of the photographic instrument using the telescoping monopod apparatus, and capturing an adjusted image using the photographic instrument.

Object detection and recognition method

A telescoping monopod system including an image acquisition module having a field of vision, an attachment member configured to contact the image acquisition module, a body housing a processor, a memory, an electromechanical component, and a plurality of shafts. The body contacts the attachment member. The body comprises a control panel.

The body is operatively connected to the holder. A tracking method including receiving an input from a user, detecting, by an image acquisition module, a feature, and adjusting a mirror to track the feature.

The body has a rotatable bottom end. The telescoping monopod apparatus includes a plurality of shafts disposed in an interior of the body. The upper end is opposite of the rotatable bottom end. The telescoping monopod apparatus includes a ball disposed on an uppermost shaft of the plurality of shafts. The telescoping monopod apparatus includes a spheroidal joint that is configured to receive the ball on a first end. The spheroidal joint is attached to a holder on a second end.
