The extracting apparatus includes a bracket, a holder extractably mounted to the bracket, a locking member, an elastic member connecting the bracket with the locking member, and a handle pivotably connecting to the bracket. The locking member is pivotably engaged with the bracket. The handle includes a cam, and the locking member includes a latch portion. When the extracting apparatus is at a locked position, the latch portion of the locking member extends through the bracket to securely engage with the holder. When the handle is pivoted to move toward the bracket, the cam of the handle drives the locking member to rotate relative to the bracket for releasing the holder.

Extracting apparatus for storage module

A computer enclosure includes a computer bezel with an opening defined therein, a cover plate for covering the opening, and an actuating module. The cover plate is pivotably attached to a front side of the computer bezel. The actuating module includes a mounting bracket attached to a rear side of the computer bezel and an actuating member pivotably attached to the mounting bracket. The actuating member is capable of rotating between an extended position, where the cover plate is pushed open by the actuating member to expose the opening, and a retracted position, where the cover plate is closed to cover the opening.

An enclosure includes a base, a cover mounted on the base, and two locking members assembled on the cover. A plurality of supporting recesses and two supporting portions are defined in the base. A plurality of barbs are formed on the cover to match with the supporting recesses. The locking members each include a securing portion movably assembled on a bottom of the cover, an operating portion mounted on a top of the cover and extending through the cover and connected to the securing portion, and a flexible member abutting against both the securing portion and the cover. The securing portion is engaged with a corresponding supporting portion to secure the cover on the base. The securing portion can be operated to disengage from the supporting portion to remove the cover from the base.

A locking enclosure includes a base, a cover mounted on the base, and two locking members assembled on the cover. A plurality of supporting recesses and two supporting portions are defined in the base. A plurality of barbs are formed on the cover to match with the supporting recesses, and two elastic arms are assembled on the cover to engage with the supporting portions, whereby the cover is restricted to move relative to the base, and is secured on the base. The locking members each comprise a resisting portion abutting a corresponding elastic arm. The resisting portion can be operated to make the elastic arm disengage from the supporting portion, to remove the cover from the base.

Locking device and electronic enclosure using same

A computer enclosure includes a front panel, a shielding member, and a linkage assembly. The front panel defines an opening and a pair of sliding slots beside the opening. Each of the sliding slots has a stop portion and a sliding portion. The shielding member includes a pair of sliding posts respectively received in the stop portions of the sliding slots. The linkage assembly is capable of pushing the shielding member to urge the sliding posts sliding from the stop portions to the sliding portions of the sliding slots. The shielding member is capable of covering the opening when the sliding posts are received in the stop portions of the sliding slots and capable of sliding along the sliding portions to expose the opening.

An electronic enclosure includes a base, a cover mounted on the base, a first locking module engaged on the cover, a second locking module, and a locking structure. The base defines a number of supporting recesses defined therein. The cover includes a number of barbs for matching with the supporting recesses of the base. The at least one locking member includes a pivot portion pivotably engaging with the base, a first end and a second end opposite to the first end. The mounting bracket includes a sideboard, and a first sidewall. The sideboard defines a through hole therein. The locking member arranged between the sideboard and the first sidewall includes a locking pin protruding therefrom. The locking pin is inserted through the through hole of the mounting bracket and configured for engaging in the fixing hole of the data storage device. A top of the locking member is pivotably connected to the mounting bracket. The operating member is arranged between the locking member and the first sidewall, and includes a resilient portion for pressing the locking member inward, and a first clip portion for clipping a bottom of the locking member for drawing the locking member to pivot outward. A top of the operating member is pivotably connected to the mounting bracket.

A mounting apparatus includes a bracket (), and a retainer () slidably attached to the bracket. The bracket is punched inwardly from a side panel () of an electronic device for receiving a storage device () therein. A frame () contains the storage device therein and includes a pair of posts extending from side plates thereof. The bracket includes a pair of opposite sidewalls () each defining a pair of sideways therein. The retainer includes a pair of wings () slidably attached to the sidewalls of the bracket. A catch () with a slopped edge () is formed in a rear portion of each of the wings. The posts of the frame slide in the sideways and engage the actuating portions of the catch to move the retainer away from the bracket. The storage device is securely mounted in the bracket, with the posts held by the catches.

A computer enclosure includes a computer chassis (), a locking member () and a side panel (). The computer chassis includes a front panel (), a rear panel (), a top panel () and a bottom panel (). Two of the panels perpendicularly respectively extend and form two flanges. The locking member is pivotally attached to one of the flanges of the computer chassis for movement between an open position and a closed position. A resilient member () is arranged between the side panel and the computer chassis. The resilient member includes an elastic portion (). When the locking member is in the open position, the side panel turns around on the other one of the flanges via the elastic portion is pressed on said other one of the flanges.
