The method includes: determining whether there are a plurality of consecutive tabs misaligned with each other in a first electrode plate assembly; and adjusting, if there are a plurality of consecutive tabs misaligned with each other, a cutting position of the first electrode plate assembly to adjust a width of first electrode plates obtained after cutting, such that tabs of a plurality of first electrode plates obtained after cutting the first electrode plate assembly are aligned with each other, the first electrode plates being anode electrode plates or cathode electrode plates.
