A scroll compressor is provided which comprises: a housing; a driving motor; an orbiting scroll rotated by the driving motor; a fixed scroll; a suction port provided in the housing and suctioning a refrigerant; an oil separator in the housing at one side of the fixed scroll; and a discharge port for discharging, to the outside of the housing, the refrigerant from which oil is separated in the oil separator. The scroll compressor includes an intermediate housing; a back pressure chamber in the intermediate housing at one side of the orbiting scroll, first and second back pressure seal members in the intermediate housing; a plurality of anti-rotation rings in the intermediate housing; and a plurality of anti-rotation pins at the orbiting scroll to be inserted into each of the plurality of anti-rotation rings.

Scroll compressor

A scroll compressor and a refrigerating machine including the same are provided. In the scroll compressor, an oil supply hole formed in an orbiting scroll guides oil from a space between a frame and the orbiting scroll to a space between a fixed scroll and the orbiting scroll, and an oil supply groove formed at the fixed scroll maintains communication with the oil supply hole, thereby rapidly supplying oil to a bearing surface between the fixed scroll and the orbiting scroll before the oil is introduced into a back pressure chamber. This enhances compressor efficiency by effectively preventing frictional losses and refrigerant leakage in such a compressor, and enhances energy efficiency for a refrigerating machine using such a compressor.

Scroll compressor and refrigerating machine having the same

A hermetic compressor and a refrigeration cycle device having the same are provided. An oil separator is installed either outside or inside of a casing to separate oil from a discharged refrigerant and an oil pump driven by a driving force of a motor is used to recollect the oil separated in the oil separator, whereby the separation between oil and refrigerant can effectively be performed and also a fabricating cost can be reduced. Also, an introduction of the separated refrigerant back into the compressor can be prevented so as to improve a cooling capability of the refrigeration cycle device. In addition, the oil pump is driven by the driving force of the motor, resulting in a simple configuration of the compressor and a reduction of a fabricating cost of the compressor.

Hermetic compressor and refrigeration cycle device having the same

A compressor and an oil separating device therefor are provided which are capable of always maintaining a predetermined amount of oil in the compressor without additionally providing an oil separating device along a refrigerating cycle system. This results in the refrigerating cycle system having simplified piping and the refrigerant discharged from the compressor having a constant pressure, thereby preventing a function of the refrigerating cycle system from being reduced. The compressor includes a casing, a compression device having a compression chamber disposed within the casing and configured to receive, compress, and output a refrigerant, and an oil separating device disposed within the casing. The oil separating device includes a separation chamber configured to circulate the refrigerant to separate oil therefrom, a guide member configured to direct the refrigerant discharged from the compression device, and a circulation member configured to receive the refrigerant from the guide member and direct the refrigerant into the separation chamber in a direction of circulation.

A compressor and oil separation device therefore are provided. The oil separation device is integrated with a compressor and includes a first case having a refrigerant inlet into which a refrigerant mixed with oil is sucked and an oil recollecting member through which oil separated from the refrigerant flows, and a second case positioned outside of the first case and having a refrigerant outlet through which refrigerant separated from an oil is discharged. With this constructions, a pipe connecting the compressor and a separate oil separation device is not required, thereby reducing fabrication costs and facilitating installation.

Disclosed herein is an oil supply structure of a scroll compressor. The oil supply structure is provided to prevent a slender hole of an oil supply screw from being clogged with sludge, the oil supply screw being provided between a backpressure space, which is defined between an orbiting scroll and a main frame, and a space which is defined between a fixed scroll and the main frame, and adapted to supply oil from the backpressure space into the space. The oil supply screw includes an orifice having a center hole longitudinally perforated through the center of an upper portion of a screw body of the oil supply screw and a slender hole continuously perforated below the center hole to have the same axis as that of the center hole, and a sludge discharger having a non-flat-plane configuration and formed at a lower entrance end of the screw body.

An oil discharge preventing apparatus of a scroll compressor comprises: a balance weight coupled to a rotor of a driving motor so as to offset an unbalance generated when an orbiting scroll performs an orbiting motion by receiving a rotation force of the driving motor; and a lower fixed oil guide fixedly coupled between the balance weight and the rotor, for preventing oil from being spread in a casing and guiding the oil downwardly to a bottom of the casing, whereby an oil leakage to the outside of the casing can be minimized, the number of construction components can be reduced, and assembling processes can be simplified.

An apparatus for varying the capacity of a scroll compressor is disclosed. The apparatus for varying the capacity of a scroll compressor includes a bypass passage for connecting a compression pocket under intermediate pressure among compression pockets formed by a wrap of a fixed scroll and a wrap of a orbiting scroll and a suction side through which refrigerant is inhaled into the compression pocket to each other, an opening and closing device for opening and closing the bypass passage, and an elastic opening and closing device mounted in the bypass passage to open and close the bypass passage by the pressure of the compression pocket and the pressure and elasticity of the suction side according as the bypass passage is opened and closed by the opening and closing device. Therefore, it is possible to simplify the structure of varying the capacity of a compressor such that it is possible to reduce the size of the apparatus for varying the capacity of a scroll compressor and to thus reduce the number of parts.

Apparatus for varying capacity of scroll compressor

The present invention discloses an apparatus for varying a capacity of a scroll compressor. The apparatus comprises: a pressure control mechanism for controlling a pressure applied to the back of a orbiting scroll orbiting engaged with a fixed scroll; and a sealing varying mechanism for changing a sealing region of a orbiting scroll wrap and a sealing region of a fixed scroll wrap according to a change in the pressure applied to the back of the orbiting scroll. By this, the capacity of a refrigerant compressed by the fixed scroll and orbiting scroll using a high pressure in a casing can be varied to thus minimize the power consumption.

Disclosed herein is an oil supply structure of a scroll compressor capable of preventing a sludge clog phenomenon in a fine hole of an oil supply screw. The oil supply structure comprises a backpressure space defined between an orbiting scroll and a main frame of the compressor, a screw bore perforated through the main frame between the backpressure space and a space defined between a fixed scroll and the main frame, and the oil supply screw fastened in the screw bore and having a stepped screw body including upper and lower portions of different diameters. The upper and lower portions of the screw body are vertically perforated, through the center thereof, with a center hole and a fine hole, respectively, to form an orifice. An entrance end of the lower portion of the screw body is exposed to the backpressure space, thereby preventing the fine hole of the oil supply screw from being clogged with sludge.

An eccentric bush structure in a radial compliance scroll compressor including an eccentric bush fitted around a crank pin eccentrically provided at an upper end of a crankshaft, crank pin and stopper holes provided at the eccentric bush, and a weight member adapted to increase a weight of the eccentric bush. The stopper hole overlaps with the crank pin hole such that a stopper received in the stopper hole is radially protruded into the crank pin hole toward a vertically-extending cut surface formed at the crank pin to selectively come into contact with the cut surface in accordance with a rotation of the crank pin.

Disclosed is a vacuum preventing device for a scroll compressor comprising: a chamber formed at one side of a fixed scroll and having a suction hole, a compression hole, and a discharge hole at an inner circumference surface thereof; an open/close member installed in the chamber and having a seal oil groove at an outer circumference surface thereof for selectively connecting the discharge hole to the suction hole; and an elasticity member installed in the chamber for providing an elasticity force to the open/close member. The device can enhance a compression efficiency of the compressor by preventing gas leakage efficiently and reduce a fabricating cost by improving a design of a clearance and enhancing a tolerance limit range.
