A compound having anti-aging and discoloration resistance effects and a preparation method therefor are provided. The structure of the compound is represented by formula (I). The compound provides longer-lasting anti-aging performance, and has discoloration resistance. The compound may be used as an anti-aging agent in rubber products, especially rubber tires, and can prevent the aging and deterioration of rubber products or rubber tires due to light, heat, oxygen, and fatigue, during use.

Compound having anti-aging and discoloration resistance effects and preparation method therefor

An antidegradant composition, an antidegradant master batch comprising the antidegradant composition and a rubber composition comprising the antidegradant composition or the antidegradant master batch. The antidegradant composition comprises antidegradant TMPPD and one or two selected from antidegradant N3100-B and an antidegradant N3100-C. The antidegradant composition and antidegradant master batch render a rubber compound and a rubber article excellent discoloration resistance, fatigue resistance, ozone resistance, and mechanical properties before and after thermal oxidative aging and enables the rubber compound to be used in the manufacture of all or part of the rubber matrix, especially as a tire sidewall rubber composition and a tire tread rubber composition.

Antidegradant composition, antidegradant master batch and rubber composition

A formulation for rubber composition with reduced odor and good thermal oxidative aging-resistance and tension fatigue resistance comprising 100 parts by weight of a diene elastomer, 30 to 70 parts by weight of a reinforcing filler, 0.1 to 8 parts by weight of an antidegradant composition, and 0.5 to 3 parts by weight of a crosslinker, wherein the antidegradant composition includes a 6PPD antidegradant with a purity of equal to or greater than about 98% and an S-TMQ. The rubber composition has no added odor inhibitor/adsorbent or deodorizing additive, while by using combination of 6PPD with purity of equal to or greater than about 98% and an S-TMQ instead of traditional combination of 6PPD and a TMQ, the VOC emission of the rubber composition is effectively reduced, the odor grade is reduced, and the thermal oxidative aging-resistance and tension fatigue resistance is improved.

A rubber protective wax, comprising hydrocarbon compounds, a polyethylene wax and an antidegradant. The rubber protective wax of the present invention can render rubber good thermal oxidative aging resistance, static ozone aging resistance, dynamic ozone aging resistance, flex cracking resistance and tensile fatigue resistance, and has good protection effects in both static environment and dynamic load environment.
