Systems and techniques for determining an idle timeout for a cloud computing session are described. An example technique includes determining a first one or more attributes associated with a user of the cloud computing session and determining a second one or more attributes associated with an operation of the cloud computing session. An idle timeout for the cloud computing session is determined, based at least in part on the first one or more attributes and the second one or more attributes. User activity is monitored during the cloud computing session. Upon determining, based on the monitoring, an absence of the activity of the user within a duration of the idle timeout, the cloud computing session is terminated.

Adjusting idle timeout for a session

A computer-implemented method, system and computer program product for accurately identifying an execution time of a performance test. Network latency data is grouped into clustered groups of network latency data. Furthermore, the performance test execution times for the same group of performance tests run in the local and remote cluster environments are obtained. The test execution times impacted by network latency (compensation times) are then determined based on such obtained performance test execution times in the local and remote cluster environments. Such compensation times are then grouped into clustered groups of compensation times. A regression model is built to predict a performance test execution time impacted by network latency (compensation time) using the clustered groups of network latency data and compensation times. The execution time of a performance test run in the remote cluster environment is then generated that takes into consideration the compensation time predicted by the regression model.

Accurately identifying execution time of performance test

Systems and methods are provided to recommend software patches based on task operation mapping. In embodiments, a method includes abstracting test cases for a software patch into a sequence of task operations and parameters associated with each task operation; encoding the task operations and the parameters associated with each task operation based on predetermined rules, thereby generating encoded task operations with unique identifiers assigned thereto and associated encoded parameters with numeric values assigned thereto; generating, using machine learning, a list of frequent operation items, based on the encoded task operations and the associated encoded parameters; generating, using clustering, clusters of parameters for each frequent operation item in the list of frequent operation items; and sending a software patch package including the list of frequent operation items, the clusters of parameters and the software patch to a remote server for distribution to one or more user devices.

Automated software patch mapping and recommendation

A method for simultaneously determining fat-soluble vitamins and carotenoids in serum, and belonging to the technical field of analytical chemistry, includes an ionic liquid (IL) or a binary mixed solvent composed of an IL and another solvent is adopted as an extractant; the biological samples are pre-treated by liquid-liquid extraction (LLE) and then detected by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC); retinyl acetate and trans-&#x3b2;-apo-8'-carotenal are adopted as the internal standards for fat-soluble vitamins and carotenoids, respectively; and the internal standard method is adopted to establish standard curves for quantification based on the retention time and the UV-Vis absorption spectrum. Compared with the existing methods, in the disclosure, the pretreatment process is simple and easy to be conducted, the sample can be prepared in a short time, and the toxic and harmful organic solvent is used at a reduced amount.

A thin-film thermocouple probe includes a columnar substrate, a tungsten-26% rhenium film and an indium oxide (InO) film. A side surface of the columnar substrate is provided with a first straight groove and a second straight groove. The tungsten-26% rhenium film is arranged on a front end surface of the columnar substrate and in the first straight groove. The indium oxide film is arranged on the front end surface of the columnar substrate and in the second straight groove. The indium oxide film on the front end surface of the columnar substrate is connected to the tungsten-26% rhenium film on the front end surface of the columnar substrate. A first metal lead wire is connected to the tungsten-26% rhenium film, and a second metal lead wire is connected to the indium oxide film. A method of preparing the thin-film thermocouple probe is provided.

This application further discloses a method of preparing the polishing fluid by mixing under heating. Mechanisms are provided for managing caching of data in a multi-tenant cache storage device utilized by a distributed dataset based application. The mechanisms retrieve Resilient Distributed Dataset (RDD) block size information for an RDD associated with an application. A probability distribution of RDD block sizes is generated based on the RDD block size information and a maximum size for a RDD block of data is estimated based on the probability distribution. An amount of free space in a portion of the multi-tenant cache storage device allocated to the application is estimated based on the estimated maximum size for the RDD block of data. Cache operations for caching data associated with the application to the multi-tenant cache storage device are managed based on the estimated amount of free space in the portion of the multi-tenant cache storage device allocated to the application.
