This disclosure describes apparatuses, methods, and techniques for implementing a multimode frequency multiplier. In example implementations, an apparatus for generating a frequency includes a multimode frequency multiplier. The multimode frequency multiplier includes a multiphase generator and a reconfigurable frequency multiplier. The multiphase generator is configured to produce a first signal including multiple phase components and having a first frequency. The reconfigurable frequency multiplier is coupled in series with the multiphase generator. The reconfigurable frequency multiplier is configured to produce a second signal based on the first signal and having a second frequency that is a multiple of the first frequency.

The compound of formula (I) has multiple pharmacological functions such as the functions of activating opioid receptors and blocking dopamine D2 receptors, and has good physicochemical properties and oral bioavailability. General animal experiments show that such a compound has significant and long-lasting analgesic and calming effects and can be used to treat pain and other mental illnesses.

Use and preparation method of berberine compounds

The temperature distribution associated with a design of an integrated circuit is calculated by convoluting a surface power usage represented by a power matrix with a heat spreading function. The heat spreading function may be calculated from a simulation of a point source on the integrated circuit using a finite element analysis model of the integrated circuit or other techniques. To account for spatial variations on the chip, the heat spreading function may be made dependent on position using a position scaling function. Steady-state or transient temperature distributions may be computed by using a steady-state or transient heat spreading function. A single heat spreading function may be convolved with various alternative power maps to efficiently calculate temperature distributions for different designs. In an inverse problem, one can calculate the power map from an empirically measured temperature distribution and a heat spreading function using various de-convolution techniques. While the forward problem is analogous to image blurring, the inverse problem is analogous to image restoration.

Efficient method to predict integrated circuit temperature and power maps

Controlling the flow of network traffic to avoid undesired delay in the transmission of timing sensitive packets is disclosed. A plurality of packets to be transmitted via a network transmission path is monitored. A time at which a timing sensitive packet will become available for transmission via the network transmission path is anticipated. The plurality of packets is controlled in light of the anticipated time so that packets other than the timing sensitive packet will not occupy the network transmission path at a time associated with the anticipated time. Approximating a maximum data transmission rate associated with a network transmission path by sending and analyzing receipt of a series of test packets is disclosed. Approximating a buffer size of a buffer associated with a network transmission path by sending and analyzing receipt of a series of test packets is disclosed.
