An array sensor and a method for forming and operating the same are provided. The array sensor includes: a sensor circuit including an array of pixel units that includes N rows of pixel units; and a driving circuit including at least N rows of shifting units; where the driving circuit further includes: a first global clearing signal line connected with odd rows of shifting units, a signal of which being applied to trigger the odd rows of shifting units to simultaneously turn on odd rows of pixel units, so that the odd rows of pixel units simultaneously discharge residual charge; and a second global clearing signal line connected with even rows of shifting units, a signal of which being applied to trigger the even rows of shifting units to simultaneously turn on even rows of pixel units, so that the even rows of pixel units simultaneously discharge residual charge.

Array sensor, method for forming and operating the same

The present disclosure provides a method and a circuit for signal collection of an image sensor. The image sensor includes a plurality of pixels arranged in an array, and each of the plurality of pixels include a photodiode. The method for signal collection includes: performing signal collection row by row on the plurality of pixels in each signal collection period, wherein the signal collection period comprises at least one reset frame and at least one clear frame; applying a forward bias voltage to the photodiode of each of the plurality of pixels being collected in each reset frame; and applying a reverse bias voltage to the photodiode of each of the plurality of pixels being collected in each clear frame. The solution provided by the present disclosure can ensure a better clearing effect and eliminate the impact of ambient light on imaging, while shortening the signal collection period.

Method and circuit for signal collection of image sensor

An optical fingerprint sensor apparatus and an assembling method thereof are provided. The optical fingerprint sensor apparatus includes: a support frame structure having an opening therein, the opening penetrating through the support frame structure; an optical fingerprint sensor module disposed in the opening; a support plate disposed below the optical fingerprint sensor module and at the bottom of the support frame structure, wherein the support plate is fixedly connected to the bottom of the support frame structure; an elastic support member disposed between the optical fingerprint sensor module and the support plate, wherein the elastic support member is fixedly connected to the optical fingerprint sensor module and the support plate, respectively; and a self-luminous display panel disposed on the optical fingerprint sensor module and the support frame structure, wherein the self-luminous display panel and the support frame structure are fixedly connected. Performance of the optical fingerprint sensor apparatus is improved.

Optical fingerprint sensor apparatus and assembling method thereof

An optical fingerprint module, comprising: a protective layer; an optical fingerprint sensor; a backlight source, said backlight source being located below the protective layer; the optical fingerprint sensor is stacked directly below the protective layer, or directly adhered to the bottom of the protective layer; the backlight source is located at a side of the optical fingerprint sensor. The present optical fingerprint module has a smaller size and better mechanical reliability.

A self-luminous display pixel is provided, including: a self-luminous circuit which includes a self-luminous device, wherein the self-luminous display pixel further include an optical fingerprint sensing circuit, wherein the optical fingerprint sensing circuit comprises a first TFT device and a photosensitive device, and a channel layer of the first TFT device is disposed right under a portion of the photosensitive device. The present disclosure provides an IO circuit and an access control signal generation circuit for the IO circuit. In one implementation, the access control signal generation circuit includes: a bias module coupled with an IO port, for generating an access control signal according to an IO port signal and an IO control signal, where a voltage value of the access control signal is a maximum value of a voltage value of an IO port voltage division signal and a voltage value of the IO control signal, and the voltage value of the IO port voltage division signal is a percentage of a voltage value of the IO port signal; an access control module coupled with the bias module, the access control module configured to control cut-off or conduction when receiving the access control signal and the IO port signal and outputting a first interface signal; and a higher-selection module configured to generate a second interface signal according to an IO power source signal and the IO port signal. In the present disclosure, the voltage of the first interface signal varies according to the voltage of an IO port, so as to resolve the problem of reliability, thereby improving the open-drain performance.

A display panel is provided, including: a display region including a plurality of self-luminous display pixels configured in array, wherein the display region includes at least one optical fingerprint sensing region, wherein at least one optical fingerprint sensing element is configured in each pixel among k self-luminous display pixels in every group of m by n self-luminous display pixels in every optical fingerprint sensing region, where m and n are any integers no less than 1, and k is any integer from 1 to m by n. Functions of the display panel are strengthened, and performance of the functions is improved.

Display panel

A display module is provided, which includes: a first substrate and a second substrate disposed face to face, where the first substrate is a non-opaque substrate; a self-luminous display layer disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate, an optical fingerprint sensing layer disposed between the self-luminous display layer and the second substrate, where the optical fingerprint sensing layer has a photosensitive pixel region; the self-luminous display layer has a non-opaque region, at least a portion of light transmitting from the first substrate to the self-luminous display layer can pass through the self-luminous display layer and reach the optical fingerprint sensing layer; and the self-luminous display layer has a light-blocked region located between the self-luminous layer and the optical fingerprint sensing layer which is configured to prevent light emitting from the self-luminous layer from reaching the optical fingerprint sensing layer before entering the first substrate.

Display module

An optical fingerprint imaging system and an array sensor are provided. The optical fingerprint imaging system includes: a cover plate, a backlight source, an array sensor disposed between the cover plate and the backlight source, and an optical assembly; the array sensor includes an array of pixels each of which has an opaque region and a nonopaque region, the opaque region includes an photosensitive device for converting an input light into electronic signals, and the nonopaque region is adapted for allowing light from the backlight source passing through, and the optical assembly is adapted for partially blocking the light from the cover plate to the photosensitive device, and is configured with at least one light tunnel between the cover plate and each of the photosensitive devices, wherein the light tunnel allows light passing through in a preset range of direction. Accordingly, the contrast of a fingerprint image obtained is enhanced.

Optical fingerprint imaging system and array sensor

A self-luminous display pixel is provided, including: a self-luminous circuit including a self-luminous device, the self-luminous device including a bottom electrode layer; wherein the bottom electrode layer includes a light blocking layer; and the self-luminous display pixel further includes an optical fingerprint sensing circuit, the optical fingerprint sensing circuit includes a first TFT device and a photosensitive device, and a channel layer of the first TFT device is disposed right under a portion of the bottom electrode layer. A fingerprint sensing function can be realized by the self-luminous display pixel, and an overall structure of the self-luminous display pixel can be optimized.

An optical fingerprint module comprises: an optical fingerprint sensor, the optical fingerprint sensor having a non-opaque substrate and a device layer located on a surface of the non-opaque substrate, the device layer having a pixel area, the pixel area having a plurality of pixels, each pixel having a non-opaque area and a light blocking area, the light blocking area having a photosensitive element, the non-opaque area enabling lights to transmit through the pixel area of the device layer; a protection layer located above the entire optical fingerprint sensor; and a backlight source located right under the pixel area, the backlight source and the optical fingerprint sensor being disposed with an interval, an included angle formed between light emitted from the backlight source and an upper surface of the protection layer being mainly a right angle or a near-right angle. The optical fingerprint module has an improved structure and enhanced performance.

An optical fingerprint module comprises: an optical fingerprint sensor, the optical fingerprint sensor having a non-opaque substrate and a device layer located on a surface of the non-opaque substrate, the device layer having a pixel area, the pixel area having a plurality of pixels, each pixel having a non-opaque area and a light blocking area, the light blocking area having a photosensitive element, the non-opaque area enabling lights to transmit through the pixel area of the device layer; a protection layer located above the optical fingerprint sensor; and a backlight source located under the pixel area, an included angle formed between a light emitted from the backlight source and an upper surface of the protection layer being an acute angle. The optical fingerprint module has an improved structure and enhanced performance.

An optical fingerprint imaging system () and an optical assembly () are provided. The optical fingerprint imaging system () includes: a sensor () and a light source (); wherein the sensor () comprises a substrate () and a photosensitive layer (), the substrate () has a first surface and a second surface which is opposite to and lower than the first surface, and the photosensitive layer () is in contact with the first surface of the substrate (); and wherein the light source () is disposed at a position lower than the first surface and higher than the second surface, and light emitted from the light source () is adapted to be guided by the substrate () to the first surface of the substrate (). Accordingly, an optical fingerprint imaging system () with a reduced thickness, and a simplified structure is provided.

Optical assembly and fingerprint imaging system

A display module, including a self-luminous display panel and at least one point-shaped back light source, wherein in one of a plurality of optical fingerprint sensing areas of the self-luminous display panel, a largest square region whose center is closest to the point-shaped back light source is selected; in the largest square region, optical fingerprint sensing devices of the largest square region are divided into various device groups, and structures of the optical fingerprint sensing devices of the various device groups are configured. The structure of the display module is optimized to improve a fingerprint identification function of the display module.

Display module and using method thereof are provided. The display module includes: a self-luminous display panel including first and second substrates and a self-luminous circuit layer, the self-luminous circuit layer being disposed between the first and second substrates, and including multiple display pixel units each of which includes at least one light blocking region and non-opaque region; an optical fingerprint sensor below the second substrate and including a fingerprint sensing circuit layer and a third substrate which is non-opaque, the fingerprint sensing circuit layer including multiple photosensitive pixel units each of which includes a non-opaque region and a light blocking region where a photosensitive element of the photosensitive pixel unit is disposed; a point-shaped backlight source below the optical fingerprint sensor, light emitted from the point-shaped backlight source entering the optical fingerprint sensor with first incident angle which is acute. Fingerprint recognition function is well integrated in the display module.
