Systems and methods are provided that automatically process a message input, construct an intelligent query based on the processing of the message input, and provide at least one attachable entity according to the processing results and the intelligent query. In some example aspects, a message is received. A natural language processor to determine if the message is requesting content may then process the message. If the message is determined to be requesting content, then candidate sub-queries may be generated to serve as a training set for a query that will be sent to an external search engine to retrieve the attachable entity. The sub-queries may be ranked in order of relevance and performance score. The highest ranked sub-queries may then be used in the actual query that is fired against the external search engine. The external search engine may search local and remote repositories for the top K most relevant attachable entities and present them to a user for attachment in a reply message.

Intelligent query system for attachments

Systems and methods are provided that automatically process message input and provide action responses according to the processing results. The automatic action response system may leverage at least one machine-learning algorithm that is trained using a dataset. The provided action responses may comprise of default action responses and/or intelligent action responses that are based at least in part on prior conversational data between a user and a sender. Some intelligent action responses may include text-based replies, which eliminate the need for a user to type a reply on a device screen, thereby saving previous time, conserving device battery life, and preserving the integrity of the device hardware. A portion of a message may be highlighted manually by a user or automatically by the action response system to initiate the automatic action response system. In this way, a more efficient and productive user experience across various devices and applications is achieved.

Automatic action responses

Application extension management may be provided. Upon logging into a user device by a user, a list of a plurality of extensions associated with the user may be retrieved from a central repository. Access to each of the plurality of extensions associated with the user on the user device may then be provided to the user device.

Installation and management of client extensions

Various parts of email content or entire emails may be recalled or modified after delivery through the use of links to cloud-storage, where the various parts of the email content may be stored. Different notification and modification methods may be employed to modify delivered content even after it is rendered for a recipient. While recipients may have a latest version of the email content, senders may be enabled to see a version history of changes in delivered email content.

Modification of delivered email content

Computing systems configured to efficiently attach files to emails are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a mobile device can include a processor, a camera, and a memory operatively coupled to the processor. The memory contains instructions executable by the processor to cause the computing device to capture, via the camera, an image of a machine-readable label shown on a display of a client device used to compose a draft email and decode the captured image of the machine-readable label to derive a network address of a webpage, an authentication token, and an email identification identifying the draft email. The mobile device can also load the webpage in a web browser, and upon receiving an input to upload a file, transmit the digital file to an upload server along with the decoded authentication token and the email identification for attaching the file to the draft email.

Efficient attachment of files from mobile devices

Methods and systems are provided for validating a signature in a multi-tenant environment. A server or other computing device that is part of a distributed network may request a certificate collection from an identified tenant store. The requested certificate collection may be loaded in a virtual store that is accessible by the server or other computing device. The sever or other computing device may then access one or more certificates from the virtual store to validate a signature.

Tenant based signature validation

A method for moderating an electronic message includes intercepting the electronic message at a server computing device, and evaluating content of the electronic message at the server computing device to determine if the electronic message is required to enter a moderation workflow prior to delivering the electronic message to at least one recipient. The method also includes sending an approval request message from the server computing device to at least one moderator device, receiving a first moderation decision message at the server computing device from the at least one moderator, sending an update message from the server computing device to the at least one moderator to update the approval request message to include one or more properties of the first moderation decision, and removing the approval request message from the moderation workflow.

Moderating electronic communications

Techniques for reconciliation and remediation of messages sent by a server for storage in an archive are described. Some techniques may comprise receiving a message to be reconciled corresponding to a message sent by a server to be stored in an archive. The received message may be categorized for reconciliation, and a delivery confirmation query may be issued to the archive according to categorization of the message for reconciliation. Based on the response to the delivery confirmation query, it can be determined with certainty whether the message sent to the archive for storage is indeed stored at the archive. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

Reconciliation and remediation with communication archives

Architecture that facilitates cross-boundary message tracking based on a trust relationship in existence between a sender network and a recipient network. A tracking service is deployed in each network as a proxy to obtain message events for each hop that passes the message on to the recipient. Tracking can include a search task and a get task. Messages can be found in reports that match message search criteria. The search task returns an array of search results objects, each object identifying a single tracking report. A selected object is pipelined into the get task to return the detailed tracking report for the selected message.

Message tracking between organizations

Policy rules for a particular communication mode are adapted and implemented for other communication modes in a dynamic and/or automated manner. Organization level and/or personal policies for one communication mode are evaluated and modified as necessary for other communication modes, which may be integrated with each other or distinctly managed. Rules may be adapted based on user, groups, or policy types.
