The method is applied to a second terminal and includes: determining a mapping relationship between a target object of a sidelink interface and a target object of a backhaul link; performing a relay function according to the mapping relationship; wherein the target object is one of a bearer, an RLC channel and an RLC layer logical channel; the second terminal is a relay terminal corresponding to a first terminal; the target object of the sidelink interface is a target object of a sidelink interface between the first terminal and the second terminal; the target object of the backhaul link is a target object for carrying data and/or control information of the first terminal between the second terminal and a network device.
