Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, identifying a number of radio resources of a mobile device, detecting activity of an application, and determining a data communication requirement of the application. The data communication requirement is compared to a first component carrier capacity and responsive to it exceeding the first component carrier capacity, a number of secondary component carriers providing secondary capacities are identified according to the data communication requirement, wherein a combination of the first capacity and the number of secondary capacities is not less than the data communication requirement. A group of the radio resources is configured according to the number of secondary component carriers, wherein a number of the group of the radio resources does not exceed the maximum number of the radio resources, and wherein the data communication requirement is accommodated by the combination of the first and secondary capacities. Self-adaptive, intelligent carrier aggregation within mobile networks

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, determining a Reference Signal Received Power (RSRP) and a Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) for a plurality of carriers at a user equipment (UE) device, the plurality of carriers transmitted by a source group of cells including a source primary cell (PCell) and one or more source secondary cells (SCells) associated with the source PCell, and initiating a handover of communication with the UE device from the source group of cells to a target group of cells, wherein the target group of cells includes a target PCell and one or more target SCells, wherein the initiating the handover is responsive to the RSRP exceeding a predetermined RSRP threshold and the SNR exceeding a predetermined SNR threshold. Carrier aggregation—handover synergism

Techniques for controlling parameters for uplink transmission associated with a device to facilitate improving a communication condition metric(s) (CCM(s)) of the uplink transmission are presented. A communication management component (CMC) can determine whether CCM satisfies a first threshold CCM. If CCM does not, CMC can modify a parameter(s) to reduce a number of resource blocks or an MCS value to improve the CCM. If respective minimum threshold levels have been reached for the number of resource blocks and MCS value, and CCM still is not satisfying the first threshold CCM, CMC can modify a parameter to increase an amount of repetition of data packets for uplink transmission (unless a maximum threshold amount of repetition is reached). If CCM satisfies an applicable threshold CCM for a defined amount of time, CMC can modify parameters to increase the number of resource blocks, increase MCS value, or reduce repetition of data packets.

Enhancing the robustness of uplink transmission

A method, system, computer readable storage medium, or apparatus provides for receiving a first message from a user equipment (UE), wherein the first message comprises an indication of one or more conditions, wherein the one or more conditions comprises an indication that the UE has a radio mode that comprises new radio (NR); determining a required idle period for long term evolution (LTE) for the UE; determining, based on the first message and the required idle period for LTE, a transmission time interval (TTI) for NR that corresponds to the required idle period for LTE; and sending, to the UE, a second message, wherein the second message comprises an indication of the TTI for NR.

According to some embodiments, a system can comprise receiving a service request from a network device. The system can further comprise determining a first size of a network device capabilities message, wherein the determining is based on a second size of the network device capability message previously collected from the network device; and based on a first result of analyzing the first size of the network device capabilities message and a message size threshold, determining that the network device capabilities message is not greater than the message size threshold, and requesting the network device to provide the network device capabilities message associated with network device capabilities in accordance with a single step enquiry.

Self optimizing aggregation for 5G or other next generations wireless network

Information used for establishing an initial connection with a network device is optimizable. For example, a system can comprise transmitting a service request to a network node device to establish a connection, receiving a device capability request message comprising a group of configuration parameters that comprise a bandwidth class, a component carrier parameter and a band type parameter, and in response to the receiving the device capability request message, transmitting a device capability report generated based on the group of configuration parameters.

Concepts and technologies of remote user equipment assessment for network connection provisioning are provided herein. In an embodiment, a method can include receiving, by a server from a network connection client executing on a user equipment, a network connection request to authorize connection to a network. The method can also include determining, by the server, whether the user equipment can support communication via an internet protocol-based advanced service of the network. In response to determining that the user equipment can support communication with an internet protocol-based advanced service of the network, the method can further include authorizing, by the server, a network connection for the user equipment while prohibiting the user equipment from using the internet protocol-based advanced service during the network connection.

Network servers, systems, and methods are disclosed which relate to providing a plurality of user identities or personas on a single mobile device. The mobile device has a unique address to communicate with entities on the network. The mobile device is further associated with a plurality of telephone numbers. The usage of each telephone number may be billed to a separate account. Each telephone number is associated with a plurality of personas, and each persona has a corresponding visual interface on the mobile device and a corresponding set of rules. The relationship between personas, telephone numbers, and associated rules is stored on an application server on the network. The application server routes incoming connections to a specific persona on the mobile device based on the plurality of rules. The rules can be edited by a user of the mobile device via an interface or another device connected to the network.

Network servers, systems, and methods are disclosed which relate to providing a plurality of user identities or personas on a single mobile device. The mobile device has a unique address to communicate with entities on the network. The mobile device further has a plurality of telephone numbers associated with it. The usage of each telephone number may be billed to a separate account. Each telephone number further has a plurality of personas associated with it. Each persona has its own visual interface on the mobile device and a corresponding set of rules. The relationship between personas and telephone numbers, and associated rules, are stored on an application server on the network. The application server routes incoming connections to a specific persona on the single mobile device based on the plurality of rules. The rules can be edited by a user of the mobile device via an interface or via another device connected to the network. An SIP stack on the mobile device enables seamless communication with an IP Multimedia Subsystem.
