Systems and methods for spatially emulating a sound source. An apparatus includes a microphone array including microphones; and a sound profiler communicatively connected to the microphone array, the sound profiler including a processing circuitry and a memory which contains instructions that, when executed by the processing circuitry, configure the apparatus to: generate synthesized audio based on sound beam metadata, a sound profile, and target listener location data, wherein the sound beam metadata includes timed sound beams defining a directional dependence of a spatial sound wave, wherein the sound profile includes timed sound coefficients determined based on audio signals captured in a space wherein the target listener location data includes a position and an orientation, wherein the synthesized audio emulates sound that would be heard by a listener at the position and orientation of the target listener location data; and providing the synthesized audio for projection.

System and method for generating audio featuring spatial representations of sound sources

Methods and systems for vocal interaction preservation for teleported audio. A method includes determining spatial parameters of a first space including at least one sound source and at least one audio source, wherein the at least one sound source emits sound within the first space, wherein the at least one audio source captures audio data based on sounds emitted within the first space, wherein the spatial parameters of the first space characterize sound characteristics of the first space; determining vocal spatial parameters of each of the at least one sound source, wherein the vocal spatial parameters of each sound source define characteristics of the sound source which affect sound waves emitted by the sound source; and generating, for each sound source, a respective clean version of the audio data based on the spatial parameters of the first space and the vocal spatial parameters of the sound source.

System and methods for vocal interaction preservation upon teleportation

A system and method for decorrelating audio data. A method includes determining a plurality of propagation vectors for each of a plurality of sound sources based on audio data captured by a plurality of sound capturing devices and a location of each of the plurality of sound sources, wherein the plurality of sound sources and the plurality of sound capturing devices are deployed in a space, wherein the audio data is captured by the plurality of sound capturing devices based on sounds emitted by the plurality of sound sources in the space; determining a plurality of beam former outputs, wherein each beam former output is determined for one of the plurality of sound sources; determining a decoupling matrix based on the plurality of beam former outputs and the propagation vectors; and decorrelating audio data captured by the plurality of sound capturing devices based on the decoupling matrix.
