Disclosed is a process includes providing (A) an ethylene/MOCOS copolymer composed of (i) units derived from ethylene, (ii) from 0.01 wt % to 0.5 wt % units derived from a comonomer, and (iii) optionally units derived from a termonomer. The comonomer is a monocyclic organosiloxane (MOCOS) of formula (I) [R, RSiO]wherein n is an integer greater than or equal to 3, each Ris independently a (CC) alkenyl or a HC═C (R)—C(═O)—O—(CH)wherein Ris H or methyl; m is an integer from 1 to 4; and each Ris independently H, (CC) alkyl, phenyl, or R. The process includes mixing (B) a free radical initiator with (A) the ethylene/MOCOS copolymer to form a mixture, heating the mixture, and forming a crosslinkable ethylene/MOCOS copolymer composition having a gel content greater than 70%.

Polyolefin compositions for photovoltaic encapsulant films

The present disclosure provides a pellet. In an embodiment, the pellet includes a body having a first end and an opposing second end. The body is composed of a polymeric material. The body has a length and a diameter (body diameter). A channel having a diameter (channel diameter), extends through the body from the first end to the second end. The pellet has a channel diameter-to-body diameter ratio from 0.05 to 0.45. The present disclosure also provides a process for soaking the pellet in a liquid additive and forming a loaded pellet with the additive in the pellet body.

The ratio of the molar amount of nitroxide groups of component (C) to the molar amount of the peroxide bonds of component (B) is from 0.100:1.000 to 2.000:1.000.

Air-curable ethylene/alpha-olefin/diene interpolymer composition

Polyolefin composition

A composition is composed of (A) an ethylene/alpha-olefin/diene TEMPO compound having the Structure (I) and (D) a peroxide. The molar ratio of isocyanate groups of Component (B) to the functional groups of Component (C) is from 0.80 to 1.10. A composition is composed of (A) an ethylene/alpha-olefin/diene interpolymer; a second composition comprising a reaction mixture comprising (B) an isocyanate comprising at least two isocyanate groups and (C) a TEMPO compound having the Structure (I) and (D) a peroxide, wherein the molar ratio of isocyanate groups of Component (B) to the functional groups of Component (C) is from 0.80 to 1.10. In Structure I, R, R, Rand Rare each independently selected from H and C-Calkyl groups and X is a functional group selected from OH and NH. 

Air curable ethylene/alpha-olefin/diene interpolymer composition

An encapsulant film is made from a composition comprising (A) a non-polar ethylene-based polymer; (B) an organic peroxide; (C) a silane coupling agent; and (D) a co-agent comprising a compound of Structure I wherein R-Reach is independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, a C-Chydrocarbyl group, a C-Csubstituted hydrocarbyl group, and combinations thereof. 

Non-polar ethylene-based polymer compositions for encapsulant films
