An event detection method is for detecting if an event being predetermined exists in a detected environment, in which a first wireless unit, at least one second wireless unit wirelessly communicating with the first wireless unit, and at least one cooperating detection device are disposed. The event detection method includes a live CSI data obtaining step, a live CSI data reducing step, a cooperating data obtaining step and an event determining step. The live CSI data reducing step includes reducing a size of a plurality of live CSI data to generate a plurality of preprocessed live CSI data. The event determining step includes inputting the preprocessed live CSI data to an event classifier and processing a plurality of cooperating data to determine if the event exists.

Event detection method and system thereof

An indoor event detection system includes a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter includes a first antenna, and the receiver includes a second antenna, a processor and a memory. The receiver communicates with the transmitter based on a line of sight link between the transmitter and the receiver covering an area to be detected in the indoor space. The processor detects whether an event associated to the indoor space is occurred by obtaining a current CSI from the probe signal, obtaining an amplitude matrix by extracting a plurality amplitudes of a plurality of sub-carriers from the current CSI, applying a statistical operation on the amplitude matrix to obtain a statistical matrix, obtaining a plurality of eigenvalues from the statistical matrix, obtaining a current eigenvalue statistical value according to the plurality of eigenvalues; and determining whether the current eigenvalue statistical value is within the first eigenvalue range.

Indoor event detection system and method

An event detection system for a vehicle includes a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter is disposed at a first position adjacent to a boundary of a space provided in the vehicle, including a first antenna having a transmitting direction, and the receiver is disposed at a second position adjacent to the boundary, which communicates with the transmitter and includes a second antenna having a receiving direction. The transmitter sends a probe signal toward the transmitting direction, and the receiver receives the probe signal. The receiver stores preset CSI. The preset CSI includes a first CSI and a normal CSI, the receiver obtains a current CSI from the probe signal by performing a time-reversal process, and to compare the current CSI to the preset CSI. When the first CSI is matched to the current CSI, a first event associated with the vehicle is determined to be occurred.

Event detection system and method for vehicle

Conduit leakage detection system and method are provided. The system includes a first detection unit, a processor, and a memory. The first detection unit includes a first transceiver and a second transceiver communicates with the first transceiver to detect a conduit. The first transceiver sends a first probe signal toward a first direction, and the second transceiver is configured to receive the first probe signal. The memory stores a first preset channel state information (CSI), and the first preset CSI including a first CSI and a first normal CSI. The processor obtains a first current CSI from the first probe signal by performing a time-reversal process, and compares the first current CSI to the first preset CSI. When the first CSI is matched to the first current CSI, a first conduit leakage event associated with the conduit is determined to be occurred.

Conduit leakage detection system and method

A time-reversal indoor detection system and method are provided. The system includes an anchor node device, an access point (AP) device, and a first electronic device. The first wireless communication circuit of the anchor node device is configured to send a probe signal, a third wireless communication circuit of the access point device is configured to receive the probe signal, a processor is configured to obtain a current CSI from the probe signal, and to compare the current CSI to a preset CSI, and when a first CSI included in the preset CSI is matched to the current CSI, a second wireless communication circuit of the anchor node device is configured to activate at least one function of a first electronic device through a second communication protocol.

Time-reversal indoor detection system and method

Wireless communication system and method having automatic self-configuration mechanism are provided. The method including configuring a first transceiver to perform a wireless network scan process to obtain a channel status report by executing a wireless network scan program, configuring the first transceiver to select one of the plurality of channels with the channel loading lower than a channel loading threshold, configuring the first transceiver to send a sounding signal to a second transceiver through the selected one of the plurality of channels, configuring the second transceiver to obtain channel status information (CSI) associated to the selected channel from the sounding signal; and configuring the second transceiver to determine whether a total data amount of the CSI is larger than a data amount threshold.

Wireless communication system and method having automatic self-configuration mechanism

An access point includes an antenna module, a wireless network module and a processor, wherein the processor includes a plurality of Modulation and Coding Scheme code (MCS) codes supported by the electronic device. When the access point operates in a training stage for determining at least one optimal antenna adapted to the electronic device, the processor uses a specific MCS code from the plurality of MCS codes to transmit the plurality of training packets to the electronic device via the antenna module and the wireless network module without switching the other MCS codes for determining the at least one optimal antenna adapted to the electronic device.

Access point and associated antenna selecting method

An access point includes an antenna module, a wireless network module and a processor, wherein when the access point connects with an electronic device and operates in a training stage to determine at least an optimal antenna for the electronic device, the processor determines a number of a plurality of training packets, a delay time between the plurality of training packets and a length of at least one of the plurality of training packets according to a connecting status between the access point and the electronic device, and transmits the plurality of training packets to the electronic device via the wireless network module and the antenna module.

A radio frequency signal processing method for a wireless communication device, which includes an omni-directional antenna and a plurality of directional antennas, includes receiving a request signal from a first sending node with the omni-directional antenna, sending a confirming signal to the first sending node with the omni-directional antenna, receiving a data signal from the first sending node with a first directional antenna of the plurality of directional antennas according to the request signal and a result of a training packet process, transmitting an acknowledge signal to the first sending node with the first directional antenna, and receiving follow-up signals with the omni-directional antenna. The request signal is utilized to ask the wireless communication device to receive the data signal.
