A stabilizing fixture to hold and stabilize a server contained within different sizes of server cabinets includes a base, a pressing component and an adjusting component. The pressing component is slidably coupled with the base in a first direction. A first pressing surface is defined on the pressing component for pressing a server. The adjusting component includes a screw and a nut. When the screw is rotated relative to the nut, the nut is driven to move in a second direction, and the nut acts on the pressing component to drive the pressing component in the first direction to press the server. As the pressing component moves along the first direction, the distance between the two pressing component changes to accommodate servers of different sizes.

Stabilizing fixture for server cabinet

A server chassis includes a housing, a support frame, and a back plate. The housing includes a substrate. A fixing portion is vertically disposed on the substrate and is fixedly connected with the back plate. The support frame is fixedly connected with the substrate. A first protrusion is disposed on the support frame and is inserted into the back plate. The interior of the server chassis is rendered more compact, and the server chassis can accommodate eight hard disks. A server including the server chassis is also disclosed.

A server includes a case, a mounting frame, a heating element, a connecting plate, and a cooling mechanism. The heating element, the connecting plate, and the cooling mechanism are mounted on the mounting frame. The heating element is detachably mounted on the connecting plate. The connecting plate includes a plug portion configured to plug with an operating mechanism mounted in the case.

A hard disk fixing mechanism implemented in a chasses includes a fixing frame, at least one mounting frame, and at least one fixing mechanism. The fixing frame includes a base plate and a first fixing plate arranged on the base plate. The first fixing plate defines at least one through slot. The base plate bears the mounting frame. The mounting frame mounts a hard disk. The mounting frame includes a projecting portion. The projecting portion defines a through hole. The projecting portion extends from the through slot to an opposite side of the first fixing plate. The fixing mechanism includes a sliding block. The sliding block is movably arranged on the first fixing plate and extends into the through hole to lock the mounting frame.

Hard disk fixing mechanism

A server rack includes two opposing fixing frames, a side plate fixed to each fixing frame and a supporting rail extending from each side plate, the supporting rails extending toward each other. The two side plates are opposite and parallel to each other. The server rack further includes two rotatable guiding members, each is fixed to a free end of the side plate away from the fixing frame. The guiding member includes a base plate positioned on a side of the side plate and a guiding portion inwardly depressed from the base plate. For ease of installation, wedge portions of the guiding portions receive the edges of a server being installed and guide the edges accurately towards the supporting rails.

Server rack

An apparatus for mounting hard disk drive and storage device without the use of tools or fasteners includes a supporting base comprising opposite ends, elastic connecting members, and two side plates connected perpendicularly and respectively to opposite ends of the supporting base. Two elastic connecting members and an end plate connect between free ends of the pair of side plates through the elastic connecting members. Each side plate comprises one or more internal mounting pins and corresponding mounting holes are defined in sides of hard disk drive or storage device. A rotating plate is rotatable between closed and opened positions, the rotating plate can be closed to align the pins so as to clamp the device in place, or opened.

Tool-less mounting apparatus for hard disk drive and storage device using the same

An apparatus for mounting hard disk drive and storage device without the use of tools includes a supporting base, a fixing arm, and a rotating arm parallel with the fixing arm. The fixing arm includes a fixing plate with an end fixed to the supporting base and first mounting pins perpendicularly connected to the fixing plate. The rotating arm includes a rotating plate with an end rotatably connected to the supporting base and second mounting pins are perpendicularly connected to the rotating plate. The rotating plate is rotatable between a closed and pin-aligned position, where the rotating plate is substantially parallel with the fixing plate, and an open position in which the mounting pins have been rotated out of alignment.

A supporting base for servers of different types and sizes includes two sliding rails and a mounting apparatus. The supporting base includes sliding portions on each side and supporting brackets corresponding to the two sliding portions. When the two supporting brackets are unmounted, the supporting base and sliding rails have a first distance, and when the two supporting brackets are mounted to the two sliding portions, the two sliding rails have a second distance.

Supporting base and mounting apparatus adaptable for different servers and electronic device using the same

A mounting apparatus for mounting a hard disk drive which does not require screws or tools includes bracket and latching unit. The bracket includes a bottom plate and parallel side plates. The several latching units are rotatably connected to a lower side of the side plate, a free end of the latching unit defines a latching portion. The side plate defines a latching slot corresponding to the latching portion, and when the latching unit is rotated to abut the side plate, the latching portion is latched in the latching slot and holds a hard disk drive strongly and stably in an receiving space defined by the bottom plate and the side plates.
