A toner cartridge includes a housing, which has a receiving portion, a tubular portion, a first accommodating chamber defined in the tubular portion, a second accommodating chamber defined in the receiving portion in communication with the first accommodating chamber, and an outlet formed in the tubular portion in communication with the first accommodating chamber and the outside of the housing, an inner tube, which is rotatably mounted in the first accommodating chamber of the housing and which has plate portions and a slot communicatable with the outlet, and a seal, which is fixedly provided at an outer side of the inner tube and attachable to an inner surface of the tubular portion to prevent leakage of toner and which has a slot in communication with the slot of the inner tube.

Toner cartridge

A toner cartridge includes a housing, which has a first chamber and a second chamber, a rotary member mounted in the first chamber and rotatable relative to the housing by an external rotary driving force, a first magnet fixedly fastened to the rotary member, an axial motion member mounted in the second chamber, and a second magnet, which is fixedly provided at the bottom side of the axial motion member for acting with the first magnet to force the axial motion member to reciprocate.

A toner cartridge has a housing for containing carbon powder therein. The housing has a tip end at which an outlet is provided. The housing further has a through hole in which a filter is mounted. An output device is mounted in the outlet of the housing. Accordingly, the toner cartridge smoothes the movement of the carbon powder out of the housing via the outlet to be recyclable and economical.

The present invention relates to a toner cartridge, which contains the toner directly in a housing. The housing has an opening. A plug is disposed in the housing where the opening is. The plug has a small diameter portion that has a diameter smaller than the opening. A piston is disposed in the housing to be biased by an elastic member to the plug for sealing the opening. Such toner cartridge has a simple structure to reduce the cost of fabrication and use and has a function of preventing leaking toner.

A lid to selectively plug or unplug a discharge mouth of a developer container mounted to an image forming apparatus for replenishing a developer. In one embodiment of the present invention, the lid includes a body having a bottom portion and a sidewall portion defining an opening, wherein the bottom portion has an inner surface and an outer surface, and the sidewall portion has an inner surface and an outer surface. The lid additionally includes a lug having a first end and a second end defining a body portion, wherein the lug is engaged with the body at a position at the sidewall portion such that the second end of the lug and the first surface of the bottom portion define a gap g therebetween and the body portion of the lug facing away from the developer container when the lid plugs the discharge mouth.

Toner container and a removable lid for use therewith

A toner cartridge is constructed to include a container for accommodating toner, the container having a filling hole portion disposed at one end for filling of toner into the container and a barrel with a discharging hole at an opposite end for output of toner to a toner-receiving container in the image forming system in which the toner cartridge is installed, a strippable seal attached to the barrel to seal the discharging hole, and a stopper coupled to the barrel and moved to close/open the discharging hole after removal of the seal from the barrel.

A toner supplying container detachably mountable to an image forming apparatus. In one embodiment, the toner supplying container includes a first container for receiving toner and a second container for accommodating toner and providing toner to the first container. The second container is releasably mounted to the first container at a predetermined position such that the first container and second container communicate to each other. The second container is replaceable when the toner accommodated in the second container is used up by a third container that is substantially identical to the second container but has toner therein.

A toner container is constructed to include a toner storing portion for accommodating toner, a supply opening adapted for guiding toner from the toner storing portion to a toner receiving portion connected to the toner storing portion, a removable sealing member sealing the supply openings, and two elastic members provided at two sides of the toner storing portion and adapted for pushing the toner storing portion away from the toner receiving portion upon disengagement of the toner storing portion from the toner receiving portion.

A developer-replenishing container having a cylindrical container body holding a developer, a front bottleneck for output of the developer, a tubular front extension axially connected between the container body and the front bottleneck, smooth developer guide wall portions and oblique developer guide wall portions alternatively arranged in a spiral series inside the container body and the tubular front extension and adapted to guide the developer toward the front bottleneck without causing a laminar flow.

A developer replenishing container includes a container body, and a plurality of clamping strips selectively used with the container body for mounting in a copier, wherein the container body has a slide moved in and out of a frame at a bottom neck thereof for developer output control, and two locating blocks at two opposite sides of the bottom neck above the frame; the clamping strips each have a mouth adapted to receive the bottom neck of the container body, two recessed receiving portions disposed at two opposite lateral sides and facing each other and adapted to receive the locating blocks of the bottom neck, two flat positioning ribs respectively disposed in the recessed receiving portions at a bottom side and adapted for engaging into the gaps between the top side wall of the frame and the locating blocks of the bottom neck, and at least one stop rod disposed outside the mouth for positioning in a copier.

A developer replenishing container having a cylindrical container body with a bottle neck, and a tapered plug installed in the bottle neck of the cylindrical container body, wherein the tapered plug has a tubular shank axially extended from one end thereof and suspended in the bottle neck and defining with the bottle neck a developer passage for enabling the developer to be smoothly and evenly guided out of the container body through the developer passage upon rotary motion of the container body.

A container body installed in an image forming apparatus to supply developer, having a spiral developer guide spirally extended around an inside wall thereof for guiding developer out of a front opening thereof, the spiral developer guide having a spiral guide way formed of flat surface portions and sloping surface portions alternatively connected in series, and two spiral flanges spirally formed integral with the inside wall of the container body along the series of flat surface portions and sloping surface portions at two opposite lateral sides.

A developer replenishing container having a developer guide cone connected between a cylindrical body portion and a bottle neck for guiding developer out of the cylindrical body portion via the bottle neck, wherein the developer guide cone defines a spiral guide wall portion and a spiral developer flow passageway for guiding developer from the cylindrical body portion toward the bottle neck, the developer guide cone having a diameter made gradually reduced toward the bottle neck, and an angle of slope within about 15&deg;&tilde;45&deg;, the spiral guide wall portion having a depth within about 3&tilde;18 mm, the spiral developer flow passageway having a rear end smoothly extended to the bottle neck in a flush manner for guiding developer to the bottle neck.

A developer cylinder and drive gear arrangement includes a drive gear having a coupling hole at one end of its gear shaft, and a developer cylinder having a coupling block at its one end coupled to the coupling hole at the gear shaft of the drive gear, wherein the coupling block of the developer cylinder has a plurality of teeth spirally disposed around the periphery thereof.
