An impedance control circuit includes a configuration channel interface, three resistors and two transistors. The configuration channel interface is coupled to a universal serial bus device. The first resistor has a first terminal coupled to the configuration channel interface. The first transistor has a first terminal coupled to a second terminal of the first resistor, and a second terminal coupled to a system voltage terminal. The second transistor has a first terminal coupled to the second terminal of the first resistor, and a second terminal coupled to the system voltage terminal. The second resistor has a first terminal coupled to the second terminal of the first resistor, and a second terminal coupled to a control terminal of the second transistor. The third resistor has a first terminal coupled to the second terminal of the second resistor, and a second terminal coupled to the system voltage terminal.

Impedance control circuit capable of confirming connection status

An electronic device having a universal serial bus (USB) power delivery function includes a connector, an electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection circuit, a power reception notification circuit, and a control circuit. The connector is coupled to a USB host. The connector includes a configuration channel (CC) pin. The power reception notification circuit is configured to turn on, in response to an enable signal, a pull-down path of a pull-down circuit of the ESD protection circuit. The configuration channel pin generates a pull-down voltage through the pull-down path of the pull-down circuit when the pull-down path is turned on. The control circuit is configured to send the enable signal to the power reception notification circuit when a trigger signal that meets a power reception condition is detected. The control circuit controls the connector to draw power from the USB host when the pull-down voltage of the connector is greater than a pull-down threshold.

Electronic device having USB power delivery function

The present disclosure relates to a power circuit including a power supply circuit and a first control circuit. The power supply circuit is electrically connected to a power supply source and a power terminal for selectively providing power to the power terminal. The first control circuit is electrically connected to the power supply circuit and configured to receive a detection signal to enable or disable the power supply circuit. When the detection signal is enabled, the first control circuit provides a first enable signal to the power supply circuit, so that the power supply circuit provides power to the power terminal. When the detection signal is at the disable level, the first control circuit is configured to provide the first disable signal to the power supply circuit, so that the power supply circuit stops providing power from the power supply source to the power terminal.

Power circuit and driving method thereof

A switching device includes a first switch and a threshold voltage adjustment circuitry. The first switch is configured to be selectively turned on according to an enable signal, in order to connect a first pin to a second pin. The threshold voltage adjustment circuitry is configured to adjust a voltage level of a bulk terminal of the first switch according to the enable signal and a voltage provided from a power source. In response to the voltage being de-asserted, the threshold voltage adjustment circuitry is further configured to cut off a signal path between the bulk terminal and the power source.

Switching device and leakage current control method

A port controller device includes a pull-up resistor, a switching circuit, an enabling circuitry, and a protection circuitry. The pull-up resistor is configured to be coupled to a port, in which the port is configured to be coupled to a channel configuration pin of an electronic device. The switching circuit is configured to selectively transmit a supply voltage to the port via the pull-up resistor according to a first control signal, and turn off a signal path between the pull-up resistor and the port according to a second control signal. The enabling circuitry is configured to generate the first control signal according to an enable signal and the supply voltage. The protection circuitry is configured to generate the second control signal in response to a voltage from the port when the supply voltage is not powered, in order to limit a current from the port.

Port controller device

The present disclosure relates to a connection circuit including a first circuit and a second circuit. The first circuit includes a first impedance unit. The first impedance unit is electrically connected to a first detecting terminal of an electronic device for receiving a first voltage. The second circuit includes a second impedance unit. The second impedance unit is electrically connected to a second detecting terminal of the electronic device. The second impedance unit includes a transistor switch. A control terminal of the transistor switch is electrically connected to the first circuit such that the transistor switch is turned on according to the first voltage, and the second circuit receives a second voltage transmitted from the second detecting terminal.

Connection circuit and connection method thereof

A circuit that includes an input stage circuit and an output stage circuit is provided. The input stage circuit includes a differential pair circuit and two output current mirror circuits. The differential pair circuit operates according to a first voltage source to receive a first and a second input voltages and generate a first and a second output currents. The two output current mirror circuits operate according to a second voltage source to generate a first current mirror output current fed to an input stage output node according to the first output current and generate a second current mirror output current flowed from the input stage output node according to the second output current. The output stage circuit operates according to the second voltage source to receive an input voltage from the input stage output node to generate an output voltage.

Output circuit

A transmitter circuit includes a slew rate control circuit, a hysteresis circuit, a logic control circuit, and an amplifier circuit. The slew rate control circuit controls a slew rate of an input signal to generate a first output signal. The hysteresis circuit generates a first control signal according to the first output signal. The logic control circuit generates a second control signal and a third control signal according to the input signal and the first control signal. The amplifier circuit generates a second output signal according to the first output signal, the second output signal, the second control signal, and the third control signal.

Transmitter circuit and operation method

A switch circuit includes: a switching device control circuit receiving a first voltage and a second voltage, a first Type-I switching device coupled to the switching device control circuit and a first control voltage, a first Type-II switch element coupled to the switch control circuit and the first Type-I switch element, and a second Type-II switch element coupled to the first Type-I switch element and the first Type-II switch element. When the second voltage is higher than the first voltage, the switch control circuit turns on the first Type-II switch element in order to turn off the second Type-II switch element; and when the second voltage is higher than the first voltage, the first Type-I switch element is off.
