A user equipment () has an ability to operate according to one or more spectrum emission requirement capability values () in a wireless communications network having at least a first serving cell (). A message () is received at the user equipment () from the first serving cell () comprising a first indicator representing a first band designation (), a second indicator representing a spectrum emission requirement value (), and at least one additional indicator representing at least one additional spectrum emission requirement value (), both the first and additional indicators relating to the first band designation. The user equipment () performs a comparison of the first and additional spectrum emission requirement values () with the one or more spectrum emission requirement capability values () and determines a behaviour of the user equipment () in relation to the first serving cell () in dependence on the comparison.

Management of spectrum emission requirements

A method and an apparatus for measuring an inter-frequency neighboring cell is provided. The method comprises obtaining a time requirement of cell identification of a specific carrier, obtaining a time requirement of cell measurement of the specific carrier, identifying a new cell on the corresponding specific carrier in the time requirement of the cell identification of the specific carrier, measuring Reference Signal Receiving Power (RSRP) and/or Reference Signal Receiving Quality (RSRQ) of an identified cell in the time requirement of the cell measurement of the specific carrier, and reporting a measurement result of the identified cell according to a configured measurement event, wherein the specific carrier is different from other carriers, and the time requirement of the cell identification of the specific carrier is different from time requirements of the cell identification of other carriers.

A method for processing interference signals, comprising the following steps of: receiving, by a terminal, configuration information sent by a base station to obtain periodic scheduling configuration information of a neighbor cell on specific time-frequency resources; detecting, by the terminal, an interference signal of the neighbor cell according to the scheduling configuration information, and acquiring information about the interference signal; and, performing, by the terminal, interference cancellation and/or interference suppression on the detected interference signal according to the information about the interference signal.

An example of the present disclosure provides a method and User Equipment (UE) apparatus for measuring a Channel State Indication (CSI)-Reference Signal (RS), by utilizing multiple CSI-RS resources, which includes: receiving, by a User Equipment (UE), a signaling, in which the signaling indicates a multiple CSI-RS resource combination, which corresponds to a CSI-RS Reference Signal Receiving Power (RSRP), and/or, a CSI-RS Reference Signal Receiving Quality (RSRQ), and corresponding configuration information; obtaining, by the UE, a resource location corresponding to the obtained multiple CSI-RS resource combination, and the corresponding configuration information from the signaling; measuring, by the UE, the CSI-RS at the corresponding resource location, and reporting a measurement result.

A blind carrier frequency offset estimator is based on a single-OFDM-symbol training sequence in multi-user OFDMA uplink. Through multiple access interference modeling and analysis, a virtual user is employed that occupies the all null sub-carriers. By minimizing the energy leakage on the virtual user in term of tentative frequency offsets, the estimator can approach the real frequency offset. The estimator performs only on frequency-domain, simplifies interference calculations, and lowers the rank of the matrix. An iterative computation method is used to approach the real frequency offset.
