A connection assembly for an antenna includes a printed circuit board and a coaxial cable connected to the printed circuit board. A transmission trace and a solder pad are provided on the printed circuit board. An opening for receiving an end portion of the coaxial cable is also provided in the printed circuit board, and an exposed outer conductor of the end portion extends into the opening, and an exposed inner conductor reaches the solder pad. The connection assembly further includes a ground structure, which is electrically connected to a ground metal layer on a second surface of the printed circuit board, and the ground structure is at least partially arranged on both sides of the exposed inner conductor and/or the exposed outer conductor.

A housing for a cavity phase shifter comprises a first part that extends along the length of the cavity phase shifter and a separate second part that extends along the length of the cavity phase shifter. The metal pattern layer has a transmission line deformation section for enhancing the ability to withstand surge current, and the ground layer comprises a groove that is configured to at least partially compensate for the change in the characteristic impedance due to the transmission line deformation section. The RF signal transmission device can achieve good characteristic impedance matching whilst enhancing the capacity to withstand surge current. The present application relates to an antenna assembly for a base station antenna, a base station antenna arrangement and a base station antenna. The antenna assembly has a reflector, which has a longitudinal extent, a front side and a rear side opposite the front side, where the front side is configured for radiating elements to be arranged thereon, wherein, the reflector has a first longitudinal section residing in a first plane and a second longitudinal section residing in a second plane that is adjacent to the first longitudinal section, where the first plane is rearward of the second plane. The properties of the base station antenna arrangement and the base station antenna may be improved through the antenna assembly.

An integrated base station antenna comprises a passive antenna and an active antenna installed behind the passive antenna. The active antenna comprises a reflecting plate and an array of radiating elements extending forward from the reflecting plate. The passive antenna includes an array of metal tuning elements that tune the array of radiating elements, where the array of metal tuning elements us positioned in front of the array of radiating elements of the active antenna, and where a longitudinal axis of at least some of the metal tuning elements extend at an angle between 70° and 110° with respect to a plane defined by the reflecting plate.

An integrated base station antenna comprises a passive antenna that includes a front radome, a matching dielectric layer and a rear radome; and an active antenna mounted on the back of the passive antenna. A distance between the rear radome of the passive antenna and the matching dielectric layer is a first distance, and the distance between the active antenna and the rear radome of the passive antenna is a second distance, where the first distance is selected as 0.25+n/2 times the equivalent wavelength, where n is a positive integer, and the second distance is selected as 0.25+N/2 times the equivalent wavelength, where N is a natural number. The equivalent wavelength is within the range of 0.8 to 1.2 times of the wavelength corresponding to a center frequency of an operating frequency band of the radiating elements in the active antenna.

The printed circuit board includes a first part covered by the trace and a second part not covered by the trace, where the second part includes at least one hollowed out area near the trace.

A base station antenna comprises a reflector, a plurality of first radiating elements arranged in a first column that extends in a vertical direction, a plurality of second radiating element arranged in a second column that extends in the vertical direction, and a plurality of parasitic elements, where the parasitic elements are arranged around the first radiating elements and/or second radiating elements. Each parasitic element is configured as a rod-shaped metal part, where a longitudinal axis of the rod-shaped metal part extends at an angle of between 70° to 110° with respect to a plane defined by the reflector, and the parasitic elements are positioned in front of the reflector in and are electrically floating with respect to the reflector.

The calibration circuit board may include: a first metal layer configured to be grounded; a first substrate over the first metal layer; a second substrate over the first substrate; and a plurality of couplers. Each coupler may include: a transmission line provided with an input port and an output port at both ends thereof, respectively; and a coupling line coupled with the transmission line and including two first portions respectively located at both sides of the transmission line, and a second portion connected between the two first portions. The coupling lines may be connected in series to provide a first calibration port and a second calibration port. One of the transmission lines and the coupling lines may be between the first substrate and the second substrate, and the other of the transmission lines and the coupling lines may be over the second substrate.

A patch antenna comprises a multilayer printed circuit board that includes a calibration network, an array of patch radiators and a feed network. In some embodiments, the multilayer printed circuit board includes a plurality of dielectric substrates, wherein the array of patch radiators is provided on a dielectric substrate different from the dielectric substrate on which the calibration network is provided, and the dielectric substrate provided with the array of patch radiators is provided above the dielectric substrate provided with the calibration network.

The present disclosure relates to a printed circuit board assembly, which includes: a first printed circuit board, printed with a first transmission trace; a second printed circuit board, printed with a second transmission trace; a substrate, in which, the provides a through aperture for a radio frequency connector; and a radio frequency connector, which includes an inner contact portion, an housing and an insulating part provided between the inner contact portion and housing, where the radio frequency connector is configured to be received in and pass through the through aperture, such that a first end of the inner contact portion of the radio frequency connector is electrically connected to the first transmission trace and a second end thereof is electrically connected to the second transmission trace, so that a first end of the housing of the radio frequency connector is electrically connected to a ground layer of the first printed circuit board and a second end thereof is electrically connected to the ground layer of the second printed circuit board. Thus, the printed circuit board assembly is capable of improving aspects such as shielding effects, PIN performance and/or degree of integration compared with prior art.

A calibration device for an antenna includes a dielectric substrate and a metal pattern printed on the dielectric substrate.
