The media resource management method includes the following steps. First, algorithm complexities of media resources are obtained according to a type of a service, in which the algorithm complexities are algorithm complexities of media resources required by the service. Then, a capability of processing the service is determined according to the algorithm complexity of the service, and then the media resources are allocated.
