The present disclosure provides a terminal and a base station. The terminal includes: a receiving unit configured to receive first information transmitted via a plurality of first beams; and a transmitting unit configured to transmit measurement results of the first information transmitted via at least a part of the first beams. The receiving unit is further configured to receive second information transmitted via a preferred beam of a plurality of second beams. The preferred beam is determined by a base station from the plurality of second beams according to measurement results of the first information transmitted via more than two first beams.

A user equipment includes a receiving unit that executes sensing for a part of candidate resources to be used for transmission of inter-terminal direct communication, a control unit that determines a resource to be used for transmission based on a result of the sensing, and a transmitting unit that transmits a message to another units of user equipment using the determined resource.

Terminal for assigning transmission resource scheduling priority

A user device includes a transmission unit that transmits a first traffic to a second user device using a resource scheduled for sidelink by a base station device or a first user device, a reception unit that receives from the base station device or the first user device a sidelink pre-emption indication indicating that all or part of the resource scheduled for the sidelink is to be used for a second traffic, and a control unit that excludes a resource used for the second traffic from the resource for the sidelink used for transmitting the first traffic, based on the sidelink pre-emption indication.
