A magnetic device includes a first conductive structure, a second conductive structure and a magnetic core formed of a powder magnetic material. The first conductive structure includes a first connection part, a first conductive body and a second connection part. The first conductive body is connected between the first connection part and the second connection part. The second conductive structure includes a third connection part, a second conductive body and a fourth connection part. The powder magnetic material, the first conductive structure and the second conductive structure are laminated together. The first conductive structure and the second conductive structure are embedded in the magnetic core. The first connection part and the third connection part are exposed to the fifth surface. The second connection part and the fourth connection part are exposed to the sixth surface.

Magnetic device, power conversion module and manufacturing method of magnetic device

A magnetic device includes a magnetic core assembly, a first winding and a second winding. The magnetic core assembly includes a top surface, a bottom surface, a first lateral side, a second lateral side, a third lateral side, a fourth lateral side, a middle leg and two lateral legs. A first winding groove is defined by the middle leg and one lateral leg. A second winding groove is defined by the middle leg and the other lateral leg. Two opposite ends of the first winding groove are respectively exposed to the first lateral side and the fourth lateral side. Two opposite ends of the second winding groove are respectively exposed to the second lateral side and the third lateral side. At least a part of the first winding is disposed within the first winding groove. At least a part of the second winding is disposed within the second winding groove.

Power conversion module and magnetic device thereof

The present disclosure provides a power module and a manufacturing method thereof. The power module includes a substrate, an electronic component, a magnetic component and an encapsulation layer. The substrate includes a first surface and a second surface opposite to each other, and a working region. The working region is disposed on the first surface or the second surface. The electronic component is disposed on the substrate. The magnetic component is disposed on the working region and includes a lateral periphery. The encapsulation layer is disposed on the substrate, covers the electronic component and at least partially surrounds the lateral periphery of the magnetic component. A projection of the encapsulation layer on the first surface of the substrate is not overlapped with a projection of the working region on the first surface, and a gap is formed between the encapsulation layer and the lateral periphery of the magnetic component.

Power module and manufacturing method thereof

A power converter module includes a multilayer printed circuit board, a switching device, a controlling device and a capacitor device. The switching device includes two switching circuit combinations. Each of the switching circuit combinations includes two switching circuits connected in parallel. Each of the switching circuits includes a switching unit. The controlling device is configured for outputting a first control signal and a second control signal to control the switching circuits of the first switching circuit combination and the switching circuits of the second switching circuit combination respectively. The first control signal and the second control signal are out of phase with each other. On a direction, the switching units of the first switching circuit combinations and the switching units of the second switching circuit combinations are alternately arranged, each of a plurality of capacitors of the capacitor device is neighboring to the two adjacent switching units.

Power module with alternately arranged switching units

A DC/DC converter includes a high-voltage side, a low-voltage side, a high-voltage side capacitor and a power conversion circuit. The high-voltage side includes a high-voltage positive terminal and a high-voltage negative terminal. The low-voltage side includes a low-voltage positive terminal and a low-voltage negative terminal. The low-voltage negative terminal is electrically connected with the high-voltage negative terminal A first terminal of the high-voltage side capacitor is electrically connected with the high-voltage positive terminal. A second terminal of the high-voltage side capacitor is electrically connected with the low-voltage positive terminal. The power conversion circuit is electrically connected between the high-voltage side and the low-voltage side. The power conversion circuit includes at least one switch and at least one magnetic assembly.

DC/DC converter for decreasing power loss caused parasitic resistance and increasing equivalent capacitance of high-voltage side capacitor

A power conversion circuit includes an input positive terminal, an input negative terminal, an output positive terminal, an output negative terminal, a first bridge arm, a second bridge arm, a transformer, a first resonant capacitor, a second resonant capacitor, a third resonant capacitor and a third resonant capacitor. The transformer includes a first winding, a second winding and a third winding. The plurality of switches in the first bridge arm and the plurality of switches in the second bridge arm are selectively turned on or turned off. The ratio of the input voltage to the output voltage can be adjustable by changing the turn numbers of the first winding, the second winding and the third winding.

Power conversion circuit with a transformer

The present disclosure provides a power conversion circuit including input positive and negative terminals, output positive and negative terminals, an input inductor, two bridge arms, a transformer, an output capacitor and an auxiliary capacitor. The input and output negative terminals are connected. A first terminal of the input inductor is coupled to the input positive terminal. Each bridge arm includes three switches connected in series and two connection points between the switches. The winding of the transformer is coupled in series between the connection points of the two bridge arms, and two windings of the transformer are connected and form a connection point coupled to the output positive terminal. Two terminals of the output capacitor are electrically connected to the output positive and negative terminals respectively. Two terminals of the auxiliary capacitor are electrically connected to a second terminal of the input inductor and the output terminal respectively.

Power conversion circuit with transformer

A power conversion system includes a power conversion circuit and a start circuit. The power conversion circuit includes a first terminal, a second terminal, an output capacitor, at least one switch unit, a flying capacitor and a magnetic element. The flying capacitor is connected between the first terminal and the second terminal. The output capacitor is electrically connected with the first terminal or the second terminal. The start circuit is configured to control the power conversion circuit to pre-charge. A first terminal of the start circuit is electrically connected with the first terminal, and a second terminal of the start circuit is electrically connected with the second terminal. During a start process of the power conversion circuit, the at least one flying capacitor and the output capacitor are pre-charged by the start circuit.

Power conversion system

A magnetic element includes at least one primary winding, at least one secondary winding, a magnetic core, and an auxiliary winding. A winding segment or an entire of the primary winding or a winding segment or an entire of the secondary winding is defined as a parallel-connected winding set. The magnetic core includes a plurality of winding legs, two lateral legs, and two connection parts. The at least one primary winding and the at least one secondary winding are wound around each winding leg. The directions of magnetic fluxes through every two adjacent winding legs are opposite. The auxiliary winding is wound on one of two lateral legs, and electrically connected with the parallel-connected winding set. A direction of a magnetic flux generated by the auxiliary winding is opposite to a direction of the magnetic flux through the adjacent winding leg.

Magnetic element and power module with same

A power conversion module includes a high-voltage side, a low-voltage side, a magnetic element, a high-voltage side circuit, and a low-voltage side circuit. The first end includes a high-voltage positive terminal and a high-voltage negative terminal. The second end includes a low-voltage positive terminal and a low-voltage negative terminal. The magnetic element includes two first windings. The high-voltage side circuit is electrically connected with the high-voltage positive terminal and the high-voltage negative terminal. The low-voltage side circuit is electrically connected with the low-voltage positive terminal and the low-voltage negative terminal. At least one AC loop includes at least one of the first windings, at least one part of the high-voltage side circuit and the low-voltage side circuit. The high-voltage side circuit and the low-voltage side circuit are located at a same side with respect to the magnetic element.

Power conversion module

A voltage regulator module includes a circuit board, a positive input terminal, a negative input terminal, a positive output terminal, a negative output terminal, a switching circuit, a magnetic element and an input capacitor. The switching circuit is disposed on a top surface of the circuit board, and comprises two switches connected in series to form a midpoint, wherein the switching circuit is connected to the positive input terminal. The magnetic element comprises a magnetic core and a conductive structure in the circuit board, wherein the magnetic element and the switching circuit are arranged on the circuit board along a first direction, the conductive structure is connected to the midpoint of the corresponding switching circuit and the positive output terminal. The input capacitor is connected to the positive input terminal and the negative input terminal, and disposed on a bottom surface of the circuit board.

Voltage regulator module and voltage regulation device with same

The present disclosure provides a module including a circuit board, a first component and a second component. The circuit board includes a first side and a second side opposite to each other and includes a first plane and second plane disposed on the first side. A first height difference is formed between the first plane and the second plane. The first component and the second component are disposed on the first plane and the second plane, respectively. The first component and the second component include a first contact surface and a second contact surface, respectively. The first contact surface and the second contact surface are coplanar with a first surface of the module. It benefits to reduce the design complexity of a heat-transfer component, and enhance the heat dissipation capability and the overall power density of the module simultaneously.

Module with power device

A voltage regulator module with a vertical layout structure includes a circuit board assembly, an electroplated region and a magnetic core assembly. The circuit board assembly includes a printed circuit board and at least one switch element. The printed circuit board includes a first surface, a second surface, a plurality of lateral surfaces, an accommodation space and a conductive structure. The switch element is disposed on the first surface. A conduction part is formed on the second surface. The conductive structure is perpendicular to the printed circuit board and disposed within the accommodation space. The electroplated region is formed on the corresponding lateral surface, arranged between the conduction part and the first surface, and electrically connected with the conduction part and the switch element. The magnetic core assembly is accommodated within the accommodation space. Consequently, an inductor is defined by the conductive structure and the magnetic core assembly collaboratively.

Voltage regulator module

A power conversion system and a magnetic component thereof are provided. The magnetic component includes a magnetic core assembly, two windings and an air gap. The magnetic core assembly includes two substrates, four winding pillars and an auxiliary pillar unit. The four winding pillars and the auxiliary pillar unit are located between the two substrates. A connecting line of centers of the winding pillars forms a quadrangle which has a first diagonal line and a second diagonal line. One winding is wound around two winding pillars on the first diagonal line, and magnetic fluxes on these two winding pillars have the same direction and amount. The other winding is wound around the other two winding pillars located on the second diagonal line, and magnetic fluxes on these two winding pillars have the same direction and amount. The directions of the magnetic fluxes on the two neighboring winding pillars are opposite.

Power conversion system and magnetic component thereof

The present disclosure discloses a current detecting circuit of a power converter, which includes a transformer including: a magnetic core, a primary winding and a secondary winding, the primary winding and the secondary winding being coupled through the magnetic core, and a combination of the primary winding, the secondary winding and the magnetic core being used to transmit a main power of the power converter, the current detecting circuit includes: an auxiliary winding coupled to the secondary winding, the auxiliary winding and the secondary winding having the same number of turns and their dotted terminals being connected; and an impeder, one end thereof being coupled to the auxiliary winding to form a series branch, which is coupled in parallel to the secondary winding, and a terminal voltage of the impeder after being filtered being proportional to a magnitude of an output current of the power converter.
