A board end connector and a connector assembly. The board end connector comprises a board end insulating body, a terminal module, and a housing. The board end insulating body comprises a board end plugging surface and a plugging slot. The plugging slot is disposed on the board end plugging surface and comprises two interference sidewalls which are oppositely disposed. The terminal module is disposed in the board end insulating body. The housing is disposed on one side of the board end insulating body. A plugging bump member is provided on one side of the housing. The plugging bump member is disposed in the plugging slot. An interfering bump is provided on at least one side of the plugging bump member. The interfering bump interferes with at least one of the two interference sidewalls to increase the holding force between the housing and the board end insulating body.

An electrical connector module includes an insulating body, a number of conductive terminals and a retaining piece. The insulating body includes an end wall. The end wall has an end surface and a protrusion. The retaining piece includes a main body and a mounting portion for being mounted to a circuit board. The main body includes a frame portion. The frame portion includes a mounting opening and a barb protruding into the mounting opening. The mounting opening is sleeved on the protrusion. The barb at least partially pierces into the protrusion for fixation. The present disclosure also discloses an electrical connector formed by combining a number of electrical connector modules.

The present disclosure provides a terminal assembly and board end connector. The terminal assembly comprises a plurality of terminals, a terminal insulation body and a conductive plastic. Each of the terminals comprises a terminal body, a plugging end part and a connecting end part. The plugging end part and the connecting end part are provided at two ends of the terminal body. The terminal insulation body covers the plurality of the terminal bodies of the plurality of terminals. The conductive plastic is disposed on one side of the terminal insulation body. A surface of the conductive plastic close to the terminal body is parallel to the terminal body. The SI performance of the board end connector equipped with the terminal assembly of the present disclosure can be improved by paralleling a surface of the conductive plastic close to the terminal body to the terminal body.

The present disclosure provides a cable end connector comprising a plugging member, a plurality of cables, an insulating body, a latch component, and two positioning bumps. The insulating body comprises a plugging surface, a first surface and a connecting surface. The plugging member protrudes from the plugging surface. One ends of the plurality of cables pass through the connecting surface. The first surface comprises a latch accommodating groove comprising a buckling hole. The latch component is disposed in the latch accommodating groove. The latch component comprises a first latch plate and a second latch plate opposite to the first latch plate. The first latch plate comprises a buckling elastic sheet. The buckling elastic sheet is disposed in the buckling hole. The second latch plate comprises a buckling bump. The two positioning bumps are oppositely disposed on the plugging surface and are disposed on a side edge of the plugging surface.

A cable end connector comprising a plugging member, a plurality of cables, an insulating body, a latch component, a guiding member, and two positioning bumps. The insulating body comprises a plugging surface, a first surface, and a connecting surface. The plugging member protrudes from the plugging surface. One ends of the plurality of cables protrude from the connecting surface. The first surface comprises a latch accommodating groove accommodating the latch component. The guiding member and the two positioning bumps are disposed on the plugging surface and is disposed on a side edge of the plugging surface. The guiding member comprises a limiting notch disposed on one side of the guiding member away from the plugging surface. The preliminary positioning and the secondary guidance positioning can be achieved by providing a limiting notch on the guiding member, which performs the function of limiting after being connected to the board end connector.
