A fusible disconnect switch device is provided. The disconnect switch includes a switch actuator, an actuator bias element, and a slider assembly. The switch actuator is selectively positioned between an opened position and a closed position. The actuator bias element includes a first end acting on the switch actuator and a second end coupled to the switch housing. The slider assembly is linked to the switch actuator. The slider assembly includes a first slider and a second slider each slidably movable with respect to the switch housing along a linear axis. The first slider is independently movable relative to the second slider. The actuator bias element and the slider assembly are responsive to the position of the switch actuator to effect a switch closing operation and a switch opening operation.

High current, compact fusible disconnect switch with dual slider assembly and an actuator bias element

A fusible disconnect switch device is provided. The disconnect switch a switch actuator, an actuator bias element, and a slider assembly. The switch actuator is selectively positionable between an opened position and a closed position. A touch-safe fuse module includes a built-in slidable handle movable between extended and retracted positions relating to a housing of the fuse module. In the extended position, the handle assists with removal of the fuse from a base housing assembly by improving mechanical leverage to apply extraction force to the housing. Fuse modules having high current ratings may be effectively removed by hand without separately provided tools.

A high current fusible disconnect switch device includes a switch housing configured to receive a pluggable touch-safe fuse module, and a dual slide bar actuator assembly for opening and closing switch contacts. The dual slide bar elements are each coupled to bias elements that store and release energy to affect switch opening and closing operations. The switch opening and closing operation is multi-staged wherein the only the first slider element is movable in the first stage, and both the first and second slider elements are movable in the second stage.

A transfer assembly is for a switching assembly of an electrical enclosure. The switching assembly includes an electrical switching apparatus having an operating handle structured to move from an OFF position to an ON position. The transfer assembly includes a driving handle; a first shaft member coupled to the driving handle; a second shaft member structured to be coupled to the operating handle; and a transmission assembly having a first component and a second component, the first component being coupled to the first shaft member, the second component being coupled to the second shaft member. The transfer assembly is structured to move from a FIRST position to a SECOND position. When the transfer assembly moves from the FIRST position to the SECOND position, the first component drives the second component, thereby causing the second shaft member to move the operating handle from the OFF position to the ON position.
