A display panel comprises a first substrate; a second substrate; a display region; an encapsulation region disposed at a periphery of the display region; an encapsulation layer disposed at the encapsulation region and between the first and second substrates; and a reflective layer disposed at the encapsulation region and between the first substrate and the encapsulation layer. The reflective layer includes a first reflective region and a second reflective region configured to satisfy one of the following: in a first direction, a gap between the first and second reflective regions is greater than or equal to a first predetermined distance, the first direction being from the display region to the encapsulation region, and in a second direction, a gap between the first and second reflective regions is greater than or equal a second predetermined distance, the second direction being parallel to the first substrate and perpendicular to the first direction.

The method includes: monitoring a static pattern in a first display image and defining an area where the static pattern is located as a first area when a display brightness value of the area and a display brightness value of an area where a background pattern thereof is located satisfy a first preset condition; and controlling the static pattern to move during displaying of the first display image, or adjusting grayscale values of sub-pixels in a second area during displaying of a second display image, to which the first display image jumps, the second area being an area, corresponding to the first area in the second display image and having a display brightness value lower than a display brightness value of the first area.

The display panel includes: a first substrate; a second substrate disposed opposite to the first substrate; a plurality of pixel units disposed in the display region, and a plurality of photosensitive elements disposed in the photographing photosensitive region. The first substrate is located on a side of the second substrate facing a light-emitting surface, the plurality of pixel units is formed on the second substrate, each of the plurality of pixel units includes a pixel circuit and a light-emitting element, and a planarization layer is arranged between the pixel circuit and the light-emitting element, and the plurality of photosensitive elements is located on a side of the planarization layer facing the first substrate.

Provided is a light-switchable gene expression system, comprising: a) a recombinant light-switchable transcription factor-encoding gene, said recombinant light-switchable transcription factor comprising a first polypeptide as the DNA bonding domain, a second polypeptide as the photosensitive domain, and a third polypeptide as the transcription regulatory domain; b) a target transcription unit comprising at least one reaction element recognized and bound by the first polypeptide, a promoter regulated by the third polypeptide and a nucleotide sequence to be transcribed. Also provided is an eukaryotic expression vector comprising said light-switchable gene expression system, and a method for regulating gene expression in a host cell by using the light-switchable gene expression system. Also provided is a reagent kit containing different elements of the light-switchable gene expression system. The light-switchable gene expression system has a quick, effective and powerful induction with little or no toxicity. It is safer than other inducers, and can spatiotemporally control gene expression.

Light-switchable gene expression system

A technique provides a cable protector in the form of a modular unit having a protector shell and at least one removable insert. The removable insert is constructed with gaps which are sized to grippingly engage a cable. Accordingly, a properly sized removable insert is selected for use with a given cable and then inserted into the protector shell. The cable protector may then be secured to a tubing, e.g. a well tubing, by an appropriate tubing coupling. In some embodiments, the tubing coupling is coupled about the tubing via a threaded fastener which may be held in place by a back off preventer.
