The disclosed computer-implemented method may include receiving an input from a user identifying specified persons that are to be included in a concealed list of persons. The specified persons may be unaware of their inclusion in the concealed list of persons. The method may also include generating the concealed list of persons and determining that a potential participant from the user's concealed list of persons has selected the user in a corresponding concealed list of persons that belongs to the potential participant and, in response to the determination, the method may include creating a private conversation instance that is unique to the user and the potential participant. The generated private conversation instance may include an interaction interface that allows the user and the potential participant to interact in a confidential manner. Establishing concealed communications between parties

A disclosed computer-implemented method may include determining that a user of a social networking system is a participant in a dating service of the social networking system. The method may also include identifying a set of interest-based communities of the social networking system of which the user is a member and that include an activated community-based dating feature. The method may also include selecting a set of additional participants in the dating service. Each additional participant included in the set of additional participants may be an additional member of at least one interest-based community included in the set of interest-based communities. The method may also include presenting, within a dating interface of the social networking system, dating information associated with at least a portion of the set of additional participants. The present disclosure relates to the generation of immersive media experience visualizations of a data set. An example method generally includes receiving, from a data source, a data set including a plurality of discrete data points summarizing data in the data set. A visualization engine generates an immersive media experience visualization of the data set. The immersive media experience visualization generally includes one or more objects corresponding to each of the plurality of discrete data points, and an appearance of each of the one or more objects is based, at least in part, on a comparison of a data point associated with an object and a baseline value associated with the data point. The visualization engine transmits the generated immersive media experience visualization of the data set to an immersive experience viewer for display.
