Embodiments of the present invention provide a multipath searching method and a multipath searcher, to improve accuracy of delay estimation, thereby improving performance of a receiver. The method includes: performing processing on received signals r(t) and pilot sequences p(t) to obtain upsampling signals y(&#x3c4;); subtracting contribution values of a current multipath waveform to other multipath waveforms by using a raised cosine function with a peak position set to zero and according to a global maximum value of |y(&#x3c4;)|and a total of M sampling points {circumflex over (&#x3c4;)}near the global maximum value, to obtain an upsampling signal y(&#x3c4;) having a minimum residual in M groups of upsampling signals y(&#x3c4;); and obtaining a time delay power spectrum of the upsampling signal y(&#x3c4;) having the minimum residual.

Multipath searching method and multipath searcher

A channel estimating method and device are provided. The method includes: performing multi-path searching on a pilot channel, and performing interpolation on a channel estimation value at a radial position of the multi-path searching (); performing raised cosine de-convolution on the channel estimation value that undergoes the interpolation (); acquiring the channel estimation value at each radial position in the pilot channel according to the channel estimation value that undergoes the raised cosine de-convolution and a sample deviation acquired by performing the multi-path searching (). The channel estimating method and device eliminate the sample deviation of the channel estimation value, improve the demodulation performance, and evidently reduce the operation workload.

A method, a device and a system for detecting channel quality are provided. The method includes: judging whether a Transmit Power Control (TPC) symbol output by a receiver is an invalid symbol; when the TPC symbol is a valid symbol, judging whether polarities of in-phase/quadrature (I/Q) components of the valid symbol are opposite to each other; counting the number of invalid symbols, the number of valid symbols, and the number of valid symbols with opposite polarities; and estimating a Bit Error Rate (BER) according to the number of the invalid symbols, the number of the valid symbols, and the number of the valid symbols with the opposite polarities, and detecting the channel quality through the BER.
