This application provides a gas-liquid separator, including a housing assembly and a plurality of first ribs. The housing assembly has an inner side wall defining a housing accommodation cavity. The housing assembly includes an inlet, a gas outlet, and a liquid outlet, the inlet. The gas outlet, and the liquid outlet are communicated with the housing accommodation cavity. The inlet is provided on the inner side wall of the housing accommodation cavity, the gas outlet is provided above the inlet, and the liquid outlet is provided below the inlet. The plurality of first ribs are arranged on the inner side wall of the housing assembly. Each of the plurality of first ribs is arranged at an angle with respect to a height direction of the housing assembly, and each of the plurality of first ribs includes a first rib windward end and a first rib leeward end. In a flow direction of a fluid entering the housing accommodation cavity from the inlet, the first rib windward end is located upstream of the first rib leeward end. In the height direction of the housing assembly, the first rib windward end is higher than the first rib leeward end. The gas-liquid separator has a compact structure, a small overall volume, and high separation efficiency.

Gas-liquid separator

Disclosed are an oil separation device () and a condenser (-) with an oil separation function, and a refrigeration system () using same. The oil separation device () or the condenser (-) comprises: a shell () comprising an oil separation cavity (), a first refrigerant inlet (), a second refrigerant inlet (), a first flow guide channel (-), and a second flow guide channel (-), wherein refrigerant gas flowing through the two flow guide channels can be mixed. When the refrigeration system () comprises two compressors () with different displacements, the requirement of filtering and separating a gaseous refrigerant and lubricating oil can be met without the need for designing the size of the oil separation cavity () in accordance with large-displacement compressors (), and the size is small.

Oil separation device, condenser, and refrigeration system using oil separation device or condenser

The present application provides an evaporator, including a heat exchange tube set and a distribution device. The heat exchange tube set includes a plurality of heat exchange tubes. The distribution device is provided on one end of the length direction of the heat exchange tube set such that the distribution device can distribute a refrigerant through heat exchange tube inlets at the end portions of the plurality of heat exchange tubes. The distribution device includes a distribution device housing, at least one receiving port, and at least one distribution member. The receiving port is provided on the distribution device housing, and the distribution member is provided in the distribution device housing. The distribution device housing is disposed around the heat exchange tube inlets at the end portions of the heat exchange tube set and seals the heat exchange tube inlets. The distribution member can receive the refrigerant through the receiving port. The distribution member is provided with a plurality of distribution ports such that the refrigerant in the distribution member can be sprayed through the plurality of distribution ports towards the heat exchange tube inlets of the heat exchange tube set. The evaporator of the present application can uniformly distribute the refrigerant to the plurality of heat exchange tubes of the heat exchange tube set by using a simple structure, thereby effectively ensuring the heat exchange efficiency of the evaporator.

Evaporator

A heat exchanger for a heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC&R) system includes a shell having an inlet configured to receive refrigerant and an outlet configured to output the refrigerant. The heat exchanger also includes a refrigerant distributor disposed within the shell, and multiple evaporating tubes disposed within the shell and positioned below the refrigerant distributor. The refrigerant distributor includes a perforated plate having multiple holes, each hole extends from a top surface of the perforated plate to a bottom surface of the perforated plate, and a center point of each hole is substantially aligned with a centerline of a respective evaporating tube.

Falling film heat exchanger

A condenser (), comprising a shell (), an inlet pipe (), and an anti-impact plate (). The shell () has an accommodating cavity (). The inlet pipe () is a circular pipe having a gradually increasing inner diameter from the inlet to the outlet. The inlet pipe () is arranged to pass through the upper end of the shell (), the outlet of the inlet pipe () being accommodated in the accommodating cavity (). The anti-impact plate () is accommodated in the accommodating cavity (), and the anti-impact plate () is positioned below the outlet of the inlet pipe (). There is a gap between the anti-impact plate () and the outlet through which fluid flowing from the outlet can flow. The condenser () can reduce the friction loss and local resistance of the refrigerant gas flowing into the inlet pipe (), such that the dynamic pressure of the refrigerant gas entering the condenser () is partially converted into static pressure, and reduce the static pressure loss of the refrigerant gas entering the cylinder from the inlet, thereby increasing the condensing pressure of the refrigerant gas in the condenser () to enhance the heat exchange performance.

Condenser

A chiller includes an evaporator, a compressor including a prime mover, a first pressure sensor that detects a first pressure in the evaporator, a second pressure sensor that detects a second pressure in a condenser, and a controller. The controller determines a predicted energy level of the compressor based on the first pressure and the second pressure, the predicted energy level associated with liquid droplet flow into the compressor, compares the predicted energy level to an operating energy level, and modifies the at least one of the input power and the input current to the prime mover based on the comparison satisfying a modification condition.

Chiller suction flow limiting with input power or motor current control

A falling film evaporator (), a housing () thereof being accommodated with a heat exchange tube (), a perforated plate () and a spraying tube (), the perforated plate () being provided between the spraying tube () and the heat exchange tube (), such that refrigerant sprayed from the spraying tube () is sprayed onto the surface of the heat exchange tube () by means of distribution of the perforated plate (); spraying openings () on the spraying tube () have a strip shape, and the extension direction of the openings is perpendicular to the length direction of the spraying tube (). By means of configuring the length direction of the spraying tube () to be substantially perpendicular to the length direction of the heat exchange tube (), refrigerant sprayed from the spraying openings () flows substantially in the length direction of the housing (), the flow path of the refrigerant being lengthened, avoiding uneven spraying on the surface of the heat exchange tube ().

Falling film evaporator

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a vapor compression system that includes a refrigerant loop, a compressor disposed along the refrigerant loop and configured to circulate refrigerant through the refrigerant loop, a condenser disposed downstream of the compressor along the refrigerant loop and configured to condense vapor refrigerant to liquid refrigerant, a subcooler coupled to the condenser, where the subcooler is external of a shell of the condenser, and where the subcooler is configured to receive the liquid refrigerant from the condenser and to cool the liquid refrigerant to subcooled refrigerant, and an evaporator disposed downstream of the subcooler along the refrigerant loop and configured to evaporate the subcooled refrigerant to the vapor refrigerant.

Condenser with external subcooler

A falling-film evaporator includes an evaporator cylinder, a mist eliminator disposed in the evaporator cylinder, a dispenser disposed in the evaporator cylinder, a liquid baffle disposed in the evaporator cylinder, a first chamber formed at least partially by the mist eliminator and the liquid baffle on a first side of the evaporator cylinder below the mist eliminator, a gas returning chamber formed at least partially by the mist eliminator and the liquid baffle on a second side of the evaporator cylinder above the mist eliminator, a gas-liquid separation chamber formed at least partially by the dispenser at an upper portion of the first chamber, and an evaporation chamber formed at least partially by the dispenser at a lower portion of the first chamber, and where the gas returning chamber is in fluid communication with the evaporation chamber.

Falling-film evaporator suitable for low pressure refrigerant

Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to a heat exchange device that includes a condenser configured to receive a refrigerant, an evaporator having an evaporation tube bundle, a throttling device configured to receive a first portion of the refrigerant from the condenser and to expand the first portion of the refrigerant before directing the first portion to the evaporator, and an ejector having a high pressure conduit, a low pressure conduit, and an outlet conduit, the ejector is configured to receive the first portion from the throttling device or a second portion of the refrigerant from the condenser via the high pressure conduit, receive a third portion of the refrigerant from the evaporator via the low pressure conduit, mix the first portion or the second portion with the third portion to form a mixed refrigerant, and direct the mixed refrigerant to the evaporator via the outlet conduit.

Heat exchange device suitable for low pressure refrigerant

A condenser includes a shell having a vapor refrigerant inlet, a first tube bundle and a liquid refrigerant outlet. A second tube bundle is positioned in a subcooler component. The subcooler component has a center channel and at least two outer channels and conforms to the shell.

Heat exchanger

A heat exchange device includes a first heat exchange unit having a first condenser tube bundle disposed within a first cylinder of the first heat exchange unit and a second heat exchange unit having a refrigerant dispenser disposed in a second cylinder of the second heat exchange unit, where a first refrigerant outlet of the first heat exchange unit is in fluid communication with a first refrigerant inlet of the second heat exchange unit through a throttling device, the refrigerant dispenser extends along an axial direction of the second cylinder to form a chamber within the second cylinder, the chamber includes an upper portion and a lower portion, a second condenser tube bundle is disposed in the upper portion of the chamber, and an evaporation tube bundle is disposed in the lower portion of the chamber.

A condensation and falling film evaporation hybrid heat exchanger is provided, including a shell, a condenser entrance pipe connected to a compressor discharge port, and an evaporator exit pipe connected to a compressor suction port being disposed respectively on the shell. A baffle plate is disposed at a position inside the shell corresponding to the condenser entrance pipe. A refrigerant distributor is disposed in the shell, a condensing tube bundle being disposed above the refrigerant distributor, and a falling film evaporating tube bundle being disposed below the refrigerant distributor. The condensation and falling film evaporation hybrid heat exchanger according to this invention can be used in concert with low-pressure refrigerant, thus efficiently solving the problem of refrigerant distribution with the falling film evaporator using low-pressure refrigerant.
