An optical fiber adapter is provided, including an adapter body provided with a first slot, the first slot being used for connecting to an optical fiber connector in insertion fashion; a first locking structure, the first locking structure being provided on the adapter body and being used for engaging with a second locking structure of an optical fiber connector plug to fix the optical fiber adapter and the optical fiber connector plug; and a press member, the press member being connected to the adapter body, and the press member being capable of sliding with respect to the adapter body to drive the first locking structure and the second locking structure to be unlocked. Also provided are an optical fiber connector plug, a connector assembly comprising the optical fiber adapter and the optical fiber connector plug, and a communications device comprising the optical fiber adapter.

Optical fiber adapter, optical fiber connector plug, connector assembly, and communication device

A fiber connector plug, a fiber adapter, a connector assembly, and a communications device, where the fiber connector plug includes a ferrule fastened to a fiber, and a main housing and a front cover that encircle the fiber. The front cover is fastened to the main housing and encircles the ferrule. A front end face of the ferrule is flush with a front end face of the front cover, or in an axial direction, a front end face of the ferrule is located between a front end face of the front cover and a rear end face of the front cover. A slot is formed between the front cover and the ferrule, and the slot is used to accommodate an end face of a ferrule sleeve of a fiber adapter. The ferrule is used to be inserted into the ferrule sleeve.

Fiber connector plug, fiber adapter, connector assembly, and communications device

A fiber connector plug includes a main housing sleeved over a periphery of a fiber and a first locking structure disposed on an outer surface of the main housing, where the first locking structure is used to fit a second locking structure on a fiber adapter, the first locking structure includes a sliding member and a locking part, the locking part is fastened to the main housing, and the sliding member is slidably connected between a first position and a second position to the main housing; the locking part is located between the sliding member and a ferrule; and when the sliding member is located in the first position, the sliding member fits the locking part to jointly lock the second locking structure.

An optical fiber plug includes a plug body, a locking structure, and an unlocking structure. The locking structure is located on a side wall of the plug body, and configured to, when the plug body is inserted into an optical fiber adapter in an insertion direction, match an elastic bolt of the optical fiber adapter, to lock a relative position between the plug body and the optical fiber adapter. The unlocking structure is located on the side wall of the plug body, and configured to, when the plug body is detached from the optical fiber adapter in a direction opposite to the insertion direction, release matching between the locking structure and the elastic bolt. By using the optical fiber plug, a problem related to complexity of mounting and removal is resolved and a space is for operation can be reduced.

Optical fiber plug, optical fiber connector, and optical fiber connection system

This application provides a pre-connector and a communications device. The pre-connector includes a connector component and an outdoor component. The connector component includes a ferrule base and a ferrule that is slidable relative to the ferrule base. The ferrule base is configured to fasten the optical cable, and the ferrule is connected to an optical fiber that is of the optical cable and that is inserted into the ferrule base. In this way, the optical fiber can be connected to the communications device by using the ferrule. The outdoor component includes: a spindle that is sleeved on the ferrule base and that is fastened to the ferrule base; and a handle sleeve sleeved on the spindle. The outdoor component is used as a connecting piece to be detachably fastened and connected to the communications device, so as to provide a locking force used when the communications device is connected.

Pre-connector and communications device

A connector includes a first light transmission part and a second light transmission part, and when the connector is connected to an optical component, observing, by using the first light transmission part and the second light transmission part on an equipment room side, a detection light to identify the connector, and identifying an output port through which a user-side optical network unit (ONU) is connected to an equipment-room-side splitter.

Connector

An optical fiber sub-assembly includes: a handle, a rear retainer, an optical cable, a field mountable connector (FMC) assembly, a spindle, and a protection hood fixedly connected to the spindle. An end of the optical cable is connected to the FMC assembly, the optical cable protrudes from a first end of the FMC assembly. The FMC assembly includes a ferrule provided at a second end of the FMC assembly. The spindle is sleeved outside the first end of the FMC assembly, and the protection hood is sleeved outside the second end of the FMC assembly. An end of the spindle that is away from the protection hood is connected to the rear retainer and is used to fasten the optical cable. The handle is sleeved outside the protection hood and the spindle.

Optical fiber sub-assembly and optical fiber connector

An optical fiber sub-assembly and an optical fiber connector, where the optical fiber sub-assembly includes a connector component, where a first end of the connector component is used to connect an optical cable, and where a ferrule is disposed at a second end of the connector component. Additionally, a protection tube is disposed around the ferrule, where an end surface of the ferrule protrudes from an end surface of the protection tube or an end surface of the ferrule is level with an end surface of the protection tube. Further, the protection tube has a notch, and a beveled edge is formed at an outer end of the notch.

An optical fiber connector, comprising a main shaft, a connecting piece, and a lock cap. The main shaft comprises a head end and a tail end that is away from the head end. A through hole extending from the head end to the tail end is disposed in the main shaft. The connecting piece is fixedly connected to the head end and partially accommodated in the through hole. The lock cap includes a sealing portion and a connection portion that is connected to a side of the sealing portion. The sealing portion is rotationally connected to an outer side of the head end. The connection portion is located on a side that is of the head end and that is away from the tail end.
