The present disclosure discloses a method for synchronously recovering metal and elemental sulfur, particularly to a method for synchronously recovering metal and elemental sulfur in sulfide ore tailings, and belongs to the technical field of waste recycling. According to the present disclosure, metal and sulfur element are transferred from a solid phase to a liquid phase in the form of ions respectively by leaching the sulfide ore tailings in an anode chamber, then metal ions are recovered in the form of hydroxide precipitate in a first cathode chamber, and sulfate ions are recovered in the form of elemental sulfur precipitate in a second cathode chamber. The method of the present disclosure can synchronously realize the recovery of metal and elemental sulfur in sulfide ore tailings, such that a metal recovery rate is up to 89.4%, and an elemental sulfur recovery rate is up to 45.7%, meanwhile, a process flow is simple, operating cost is low, recovery rates of metal and sulfur element in tailings are high, corrosion of equipment is alleviated, and secondary pollution is avoid.

Method for synchronously recovering metal and elemental sulfur

The present invention relates to a comprehensive evaluation method for the performance of contaminated flat membranes, which relates to the field of sewage and waste resource technology. The present invention firstly analyzed the composition of the surface elements of the contaminated membrane by EDX to determine the type of membrane contamination, and then designed different cleaning schemes for organic or inorganic pollution to obtain a sample membrane. When the tensile strength of the contaminated membrane decreased more than 50% than that of the control membrane, it is a waste membrane; when the tensile strength decreased less than 50% and the membrane flux reduced more than 30%, it is a waste membrane; when tensile strength decreased less than 50%, membrane flux reduced less than 30% and the carbon footprint was more than 188 g, it is a waste membrane; otherwise was a old membrane. The comprehensive evaluation method of the present invention can quantitatively, quickly and comprehensively define the difference between the old membrane and the waste membrane, and provides the basis for the selection of the contaminated membrane and the process of the regeneration and reuse.

Comprehensive evaluation method for performance of contaminated flat membranes

The invention relates to a ternary sewage treatment method integrating microbial fuel cells with anaerobic acidification and forward osmosis membrane, and belongs to the technical field of sewage treatment. The method of the invention comprises the following steps: Sewage is driven into the anaerobic acidification device for mixture with the NaOH solution. The mixed liquid enters into the MFC for converting the enriched organics to bioelectricity and then flows back to the anaerobic acidification device. A part of the mixed liquid passes through the MF membrane module to form effluent and enters into the sedimentation basin for phosphate removal and finally passes through activated carbon adsorption column, another part passes through the FO membrane module to form effluent and obtain high quality recycled water after the RO membrane processing. The method is a new coupled model of FO membrane and MFC and it provide a ternary combined technique integrating MFCs with anaerobic acidification and FO membrane. The change and accumulation of sewage to organic acids are achieved under anaerobic acid production and FO retention, the electricity generation performance of MFC is improved, and the reuse of reclaimed water is realized by separating of FO and RO membranes. Finally, the wastewater reuse and electricity generation are realized synchronously.

The present invention provides a novel method that recovers metal components from sulfide mineral tailings by Microbial Fuel Cell. The traditional bio-hydrometallurgy reaction is split to one oxidization reaction taking place in the anode chamber and one reduction reaction taking place in the cathode chamber. Hgenerated during the oxidization reaction is continually transferred to cathode chamber through proton exchange membrane and reacted with Oto generate HO, which not only increases the reaction rate in anode chamber but also decreases equipment corrosion caused by excessive H. The method of the present invention, recovering metals as well as electronic power, is environment-friendly.
