Stapling assemblies for use with a surgical stapler are provided. In one exemplary embodiment, the stapling assembly includes a cartridge having a plurality of staples disposed therein and a non-fibrous adjunct formed of at least one fused bioabsorbable polymer and configured to be releasably retained on the cartridge. Adjunct systems for use with a surgical stapler are also provided. Surgical end effectors using the stapling assemblies are also provided. Methods for manufacturing stapling assemblies and using the same are also provided.

Provided is a polymerizable liquid (or 'resin') for producing three-dimensional objects by additive manufacturing, which may include one or more of: (a) a polyvinyl siloxane; (b) a polythiol crosslinker; (c) a photoinitiator (e.g., a free radical photoinitiator); (d) optionally, a urethane (meth)acrylate oligomer; (e) optionally, a reactive diluent; (f) optionally, but in some embodiments preferably, a pigment or dye; (g) optionally, but in some embodiments preferably, a reactive or non-reactive filler; and (h) optionally, an odor scavenger.

Light-curable siloxane resins for additive manufacturing

Provided herein according to aspects of the present invention are resins that: (a) are suitable for use in additive manufacturing techniques such as bottom-up and top-down stereolithography, (b) produce objects that are bioresorbable, and (c) produce objects that are flexible or elastic (preferably at at least typical room temperatures of 25&#xb0; C., and in some embodiments at typical human body temperatures of 37&#xb0; C.). Such resins may include: (a) a bioresorbable polyester oligomer having reactive end groups; (b) non-reactive diluent; (c) optionally reactive diluent; and (d) a photoinitiator.

Provided herein are methods of making a reactive particulate material by free radically polymerizing a single-cure resin to produce a polymer, the resin comprising: a reactive blocked polyurethane prepolymer, a reactive blocked polyurea prepolymer, a reactive blocked polyurethane-polyurea copolymer, or a combination thereof, wherein said polymerizing is carried out by dispersive polymerization (e.g., an emulsion, suspension or dispersion polymerization process), to form said reactive particulate material. Sustainable chemistry systems for recyclable dental models and other additively manufactured products

Provided herein is a polymerizable liquid composition useful for additive manufacturing, which composition may include: (i) a free radical photoinitiator; (ii) monomers and/or prepolymers (e.g., reactive diluents) that are polymerizable by exposure to actinic radiation or light, optionally wherein some or all of said monomers and/or prepolymers comprise one or more acid-labile or base-labile groups; (iii) a crosslinker comprising one or more acid-labile or base-labile groups; and (iv) a photoacid generator or a photobase generator, wherein said free radical photoinitiator and said photoacid generator or photobase generator are, or are selected to be, activated by light at different ranges of wavelengths or intensities. Methods of forming a three-dimensional object with the composition, and articles so formed are also provided. Methods of removing a portion of the article by dissolving in a polar or non-polar solvent are further provided.

Disclosed herein are methods of forming a three-dimensional object having a biodegradable or bioerodible polymer or copolymer. In some embodiments, the methods include providing a dual cure resin with a photoinitiator, monomers and/or prepolymers that are polymerizable by exposure to actinic radiation or light, at least one cyclic ester, a ring-opening polymerization initiator, and a ring-opening polymerization catalyst. Resins useful for carrying out such methods, and products produced from such methods, are also described.

Cyclic ester dual cure resins for additive manufacturing

A method of forming a three-dimensional object is provided herein, which may be carried out by: (a) providing a carrier and a fill level, the carrier and the fill level having a build region therebetween; (b) filling the build region with a polymerizable liquid, the polymerizable liquid comprising a mixture of (i) a light polymerizable liquid first component, and (ii) a second solidifiable component that is different from the first component; the polymerizable liquid further comprising a Lewis acid or an oxidizable tin salt in an amount effective to accelerate the formation of the three-dimensional intermediate during the irradiating; and (c) irradiating the build region with light to form a solid polymer scaffold from the first component and also advancing the carrier away from the build surface to form a three-dimensional intermediate.
