Implementations set forth herein relate to an automated assistant and/or other application that can adapt settings of a foldable display interface of a computing device according to user interactions occurring during a multilingual conversation. During the multilingual conversation between at least two users, translated content of the conversation can be rendered at a portion of the display interface according to which user is actively speaking. When a user is actively speaking, a brightness level of a portion of the display interface that is facing another user in the conversation can be modified to emphasize that the user is speaking and that the translated content is being rendered. When the user who is speaking is also the owner of the computing device, a portion of the display interface that is facing the other user can exhibit a limited responsiveness to touch inputs.

Adapting settings of a foldable display for facilitating translation of multilingual conversations

Typeface

A client (e.g., an eReader) includes a reader application module for presenting content to a user of the client. The reader application module displays an interface including a plurality of pages of a digital content to a user of a client. The reader application module identifies a point of interest included in a page of the plurality of pages of the digital content and assigns a physics model to the identified point of interest. The physics model may be selected from a plurality of physics models based on a type of the point of interest. The reader application module receiving an interaction from the user wanting to skim through the plurality of pages of the digital content and applies the physics model responsive to receiving the interaction from the user.

Skimming to and past points of interest in digital content

Digital graphic novel content is received and features of the graphic novel content are identified. At least one of the identified features includes text. Contextual information corresponding to the feature or features that include text is generated based on the identified features. The contextual information is used to aid translation of the text included in the feature or features that include text.

Automatic translation of digital graphic novels

A system is configured to receive a search query for books; identify a set of books that are relevant to the search query, where the set of books may be associated with relevance scores that represent a relevance of the set of books to the search query and that are based on book quality information that is independent of the search query; determine that a reference to a first book should be prominently presented in a search results document, that includes references to the set of books based on a relationship between a highest relevance score, associated with the first book, and a second highest relevance score associated with a second book; generate the search results document, which may be formatted to prominently present the reference to the first book in relation to the references to one or more of the set of books; and transmit the search results document.
