Described is a method for detecting a calibration requirement for image sensors in a vehicle. The method includes detecting a ground pattern in a generated image associated with a surrounding of a vehicle. The method includes extracting at least one key point associated with the detected ground pattern, from the generated image. The method includes determining a relative motion parameter associated with the extracted at least one key point based on tracking of the extracted at least one key point over a period of time. The method further includes detecting the calibration requirement for the image sensor based on the determined relative motion parameter and generating an output signal based on the detected calibration requirement.

Method and apparatus for detecting calibration requirement for image sensors in vehicles

Systems, devices, and methods for detection of a scooter riding environment are described. A scooter alarm and pedestrian walkway detection system includes an alarm, a movement sensor configured to detect motion of a scooter and transmit motion data indicative of the motion to a processor, and an image capture device configured to detect features of a riding environment of the scooter and transmit riding environment data indicative of the features to the processor. The processor is configured to determine whether the riding environment of the scooter is a pedestrian walkway based on the motion data and the riding environment data. The processor is configured to activate the alarm in response to determining that the riding environment of the scooter is a pedestrian walkway.

The present application discloses a track support that includes a variable track frame comprising that includes four or more connector members, hinge joints that connect the connector members and configured to form a polygonal shape having sides each associated with one of the connector members, and a track varying mechanism that can actively change an angle between at least two of the connector members so as to change the polygonal shape of the variable track frame. Track engaging wheels mounted on the connector members can rotate around an axis that intercepts with or is adjacent to the hinge joints. The track engaging wheels can engage with a track belt wrapped around the track engaging wheels.
