A vehicular trim component including a substrate and a continuous flexible surface layer wherein at least a portion of the continuous flexible surface layer has a visible light transmission of 5 to 30% as determined by ASTM D1003 or a visible light transmission greater than or equal to 80% as determined by ASTM D1003. Method to reprocess cross-linked foam and products produced therefrom

A vehicle door latch system configured to temporarily prevent door latch mechanisms from unlatching during a predetermined event is provided. The vehicle door latch system includes a forkbolt pivotally mounted to a housing portion of the vehicle door latch. The forkbolt is capable of moving between a latching position and an unlatching position. The door latch system also includes a block out mechanism configured for movement between a blocking position and an unblocking position. The block out mechanism is configured to prevent the forkbolt from moving from the latching position to the unlatching position when the block out mechanism is in the blocking position. A biasing member biases the block out mechanism into the unblocking position. The door latch system also includes an activation mechanism for moving the block out mechanism to the blocking position when the activation mechanism is activated for a predetermined time period to overcome the biasing member and after the predetermined time period, the block out mechanism moves to the unblocking position by the biasing member.

An image classification system configured to classify a target and method thereof is provided, wherein the system includes at least one light source configured to emit light with at least one line pattern towards the target, wherein at least a portion of the emitted light and line pattern is reflected by the target. The system further includes an imager configured to receive at least a portion of the reflected light and line pattern, such that an obtained 2-D line pattern is produced that is representative of at least a portion of the emitted light and line pattern reflected by the target, and a controller configured to compare the 2-D line pattern to at least one previously obtained 2-D line pattern stored in a database, such that the controller classifies the 2-D line pattern as a function of the comparison.

The cinching latch assembly having: a housing; a unidirectional motor mounted to the housing; at least one gear operatively connected to the unidirectional motor; at least one cam member operatively connected to the at least one gear; and a latch lever pivotally mounted relative to the housing, the latch lever being operatively connected to the at least one cam member wherein, operation of the unidirectional motor in a first direction rotates the gear causing the cam member to urge the latch lever between a first position and a second position wherein the latch lever rotates a fork bolt into a primary latched configuration.

A dual mode hydraulic actuator, comprising: a housing; a rod secured to a piston, the rod and piston being slidably received within the housing; a first chamber positioned on one side of the piston; a second chamber positioned on another side of the piston; a sealed reservoir; a fluid disposed in the first chamber, the second chamber and the reservoir; a bidirectional pump for moving the fluid between the first chamber, the second chamber and the sealed reservoir; a bi-mode control valve for providing selective fluid communication between the first chamber, the second chamber and the sealed reservoir, wherein the bi-mode control valve is spring biased into a neutral position wherein fluid communication between the first chamber, the second chamber and the sealed reservoir is prevented; and wherein the bi-mode control valve is capable of being manually manipulated into a manual mode position wherein fluid flow from the first chamber to the second chamber is provided and fluid flow from or to the sealed reservoir is also provided, the fluid flow from or to the sealed reservoir being dependant upon a volume of fluid in the first chamber and the second chamber.
