A magnetic levitation camera apparatus and its operation are disclosed. The magnetic levitation camera apparatus comprises a base module and a camera module. The base module includes a base casing and a first magnetic component. The camera module includes a camera casing separate from the base casing, a camera communication unit, a second magnetic component, and at least one camera device. One of the first magnetic component and the second magnetic component is electrified to repel the other one of the first magnetic component and the second magnetic component, so that the camera module is magnetically levitated from the base module. The camera communication unit is configured to communicate with at least one of an external router and a data storage server, and the captured information is transmitted via the external router to a remote electronic device or to the data storage server.

A smart self-driving system includes a body, such as a piece of luggage, supported by a plurality of wheel assemblies. At least one wheel assemblies includes a wheel rotating motor configured to rotate a wheel of the wheel assembly to move the luggage in a given direction. At least one wheel assemblies includes a wheel orientation sensor configured to measure the orientation of the wheel. At least one wheel assembly includes a wheel orientation motor configured to orient the wheel in the given direction. The smart self-driving system is configured to move in forward direction that is different than a head direction of the body.

One or more front proximity sensors are coupled to the body and configured to detect an object moving in a given direction while the body is in a rear follow position behind the object. One or more side proximity sensors are coupled to the body and configured to detect the object moving in the given direction while the body is in a side follow position on the side of the object.
