In one embodiment, a method performed by a wireless device comprises obtaining information that indicates one or more random access channel pre-compensation features required for wireless devices to select a cell. The method further comprises making a decision as to whether the wireless device is permitted to select the cell based on the information and one or more random access channel pre-compensation features supported by the wireless device and performing one or more actions in accordance with the decision.

Transmission scheduling in a wireless communication network

A method for a UE () to transmit HARQ feedback for data transmissions from a wireless network is disclosed. The UE receives (), from the network, a first data message associated with a first HARQ process and a second data message associated with a second HARQ process. At least one of the first and second HARQ processes is disabled. The second data message is received after the first data message. The UE selectively transmits (), at a first occasion after the first data message, first HARQ feedback for the first data message based on whether the first HARQ process is enabled or disabled. The UE selectively transmits, at a second occasion after the second data message, second HARQ feedback for the second data message based on the following: whether the second HARQ process is enabled or disabled, an order of the first and second occasions, and an out-of-order scheduling restriction.

Methods and apparatus for disabled HARQ processes

The present disclosure described systems and methods for providing OTT services to a UE. An exemplary OTT-providing host computer includes a transceiver, a processor, and memory collective configured to provide the OTT service by initiating transmission of user data to the UE. To transmit the user data from the host computer to the wireless device, a network node sends a first control message for assigning a PDSCH, the first control message comprising a first MCS indication as described. The network node sends to the wireless device a second control message for assigning a PDSCH, the second control message comprising a second MCS indication as described. Systems and methods for reliable Medium Access Control (MAC) Control Element (CE) ACK/NACK confirmation are provided. In some embodiments, a method performed by a wireless device includes: being configured with at least one feedback enabled Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) process while the remaining HARQ processes of the wireless device have feedback disabled; receiving an activation/deactivation command requiring feedback, where the receiving uses the at least one feedback enabled HARQ process; and/or transmitting feedback regarding the activation/deactivation command. In this way, the wireless device is enabled to send HARQ ACK/NACK feedback related to critical activation/deactivation MAC CE commands in a Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN). Furthermore, in the presence of large one way delay, this ensures that there is no mismatch between the base station and the wireless device as to when the wireless device can assume the activation/deactivation information in the MAC CE command can takes effect at the wireless device.

Embodiments include methods for a wireless device. Such methods can include receiving, from a network node in a wireless network, control signaling that indicates a parameter configuration for data transmissions, by the network node or by the wireless device, that are associated with a subset of a plurality of hybrid ARQ, HARQ, processes. The indicated parameter configuration can be one of a plurality of parameter configurations corresponding to a respective plurality of different subsets of the HARQ processes. The different subsets can include a first subset of one or more HARQ processes for which HARQ feedback is disabled, and a second subset of one or more HARQ processes for which HARQ feedback is enabled. Other embodiments include complementary methods for a network node in a wireless network, and wireless devices and network nodes configured to perform the respective methods.

Transmission parameter configuration

A method, system and apparatus are disclosed. In one or more embodiments, a network node for communicating with a wireless device is provided. The network node includes processing circuitry configured to receive measurement capability information of a wireless device where the measurement capability information indicates an ability to perform a global navigation satellite system, GNSS, measurement. The processing circuitry is further configured to determine a GNSS measurement gap configuration during which the wireless device is to perform at least one GNSS measurement during at least one GNSS measurement gap where the GNSS measurement gap configuration is based at least in part on the received measurement capability information, and indicate the GNSS measurement gap configuration to the wireless device.

According to some embodiments, a method performed by a network node for mobility management comprises obtaining data samples for modeling a wireless network environment that comprises a plurality of cells and building a machine learning model of the wireless network using the obtained data samples. The machine learning model is trained to determine a sequence of handovers for a wireless device among the plurality of cells for the wireless device to traverse from a source cell to a destination cell. Systems and methods of reference resource determination are provided. A method performed by a wireless device for determining a reference resource includes: receiving an indication of at least one configurable offset value; receiving one or more configurations of resources for channel measurement and one or more configurations of measurement reporting; and determining a reference resource for a measurement report to be reported in slot n' using the at least one configurable offset received from the network node. In some embodiments, this includes configurations of Channel State Information Reference Signals (CSI-RS) resources for channel measurement and/or CSI reporting. In this way, CSI reporting with proper CSI reference resource determination is enabled. In some embodiments, this is suitable for Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN) scenarios where the RTT can be in the order of 10s to 100s of milliseconds.
