The present disclosure described systems and methods for providing OTT services to a UE. An exemplary OTT-providing host computer includes a transceiver, a processor, and memory collective configured to provide the OTT service by initiating transmission of user data to the UE. To transmit the user data from the host computer to the wireless device, a network node sends a first control message for assigning a PDSCH, the first control message comprising a first MCS indication as described. The network node sends to the wireless device a second control message for assigning a PDSCH, the second control message comprising a second MCS indication as described. The network node transmits the user data thereafter.

Methods and systems for performance enhancement of downlink shared channels

A system and method for providing time domain allocations in a communication system. In an embodiment, an apparatus operable in a communication system and including processing circuitry is configured to receive an indication of a time domain allocation in downlink control information associated with a radio network temporary identifier ('RNTI') identifying the apparatus, and employ the time domain allocation associated with the RNTI for transmissions associated with the apparatus. Systems and methods for reliable Medium Access Control (MAC) Control Element (CE) ACK/NACK confirmation are provided. In some embodiments, a method performed by a wireless device includes: being configured with at least one feedback enabled Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) process while the remaining HARQ processes of the wireless device have feedback disabled; receiving an activation/deactivation command requiring feedback, where the receiving uses the at least one feedback enabled HARQ process; and/or transmitting feedback regarding the activation/deactivation command. In this way, the wireless device is enabled to send HARQ ACK/NACK feedback related to critical activation/deactivation MAC CE commands in a Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN). Furthermore, in the presence of large one way delay, this ensures that there is no mismatch between the base station and the wireless device as to when the wireless device can assume the activation/deactivation information in the MAC CE command can takes effect at the wireless device.

A method, system and apparatus are disclosed. In one or more embodiments, a network node for communicating with a wireless device is provided. The network node includes processing circuitry configured to receive measurement capability information of a wireless device where the measurement capability information indicates an ability to perform a global navigation satellite system, GNSS, measurement. The processing circuitry is further configured to determine a GNSS measurement gap configuration during which the wireless device is to perform at least one GNSS measurement during at least one GNSS measurement gap where the GNSS measurement gap configuration is based at least in part on the received measurement capability information, and indicate the GNSS measurement gap configuration to the wireless device.

A method performed by a wireless device for determining a reference resource includes: receiving an indication of at least one configurable offset value; receiving one or more configurations of resources for channel measurement and one or more configurations of measurement reporting; and determining a reference resource for a measurement report to be reported in slot n' using the at least one configurable offset received from the network node. In some embodiments, this includes configurations of Channel State Information Reference Signals (CSI-RS) resources for channel measurement and/or CSI reporting. In some embodiments, this is suitable for Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN) scenarios where the RTT can be in the order of 10s to 100s of milliseconds.

A method may be provided to operate a wireless terminal in communication with a network node. The method may include receiving a Physical Downlink Control Channel, PDCCH, order from the network node. The PDCCH order may include an identification for a Random Access CHannel RACH occasion to be used for a RACH message 1 preamble transmission.
