A separator includes a porous substrate, and a porous layer arranged on a surface of the porous substrate. The porous layer comprises inorganic particles and a binder, and a ratio of Dv90 of the inorganic particles to the thickness of the porous layer is in a range from 0.3 to 3.0. Excellent adhesion exists between the separator and the electrode according to the present application, which ensures that the energy storage device has good safety performance. Moreover, the rate performance and cycle performance of the energy storage device can be greatly improved due to the existence of inorganic particles in the separator.

The application provides a porous film and a lithium-ion battery. The porous film according to the present application has excellent adhesion, and the pore structure of the porous film can still be well maintained after being immersed in the electrolyte, thereby reducing the probability of pore blockage of the porous film and allowing the lithium-ion battery to have high ionic conductivity. Therefore, the rate performance of the lithium-ion battery is greatly improved, and the lithium-ion battery provided has excellent rate performance and cycle performance.

The present disclosure provides a lithium-rich electrode plate of a lithium-ion battery and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method of the lithium-rich electrode plate of the lithium-ion battery comprises steps of: (1) in a protective gas environment, melting a lithium ingot to obtain a melting lithium; (2) in a vacuum environment, heating and drying ceramic particles to obtain dried and anhydrous ceramic particles; (3) in a protective gas environment, adding the dried and anhydrous ceramic particles into the melting lithium, stirring to make them uniformly mixed to obtain a modified melting lithium; (4) in a protective gas environment, uniformly coating the modified melting lithium on a surface of an electrode plate to be lithium rich to form a lithium-rich layer, which is followed by cooling to room temperature to obtain a lithium-rich electrode plate of a lithium-ion battery. The lithium-rich electrode plate is prepared according to the preparation method.
